Antique Pine Wax

Our most common traditional colour Synonymous within the trade. A rich almost
golden brown colour that emphasises the grain & character of the wood.
This however is not that nasty yellow/honey varnish colour so infamous
within the pine trade during the 1980’s & 90’s!!

No stain just a clear wax polish allowing the natural
colour of the wood (almost white) to show through

Black Oak Wax

As the title suggests this is an almost black finish but with hints of oak
coloured hues within the grain. Quite unusual it’s similar to “Tudor Oak” in
character but not quite! Definitely stands out from the crowd!

Cherry Chestnut Wax

This is quite an unusual finish for traditional pine furniture. It adds a brown reddish
hue to the wood and is only available by special request at no additional charge.

White Wash Wax
(5% additional charge)

This finish involves staining the furniture with a white water based stain before being
coated with a clear beeswax polish. This is not to be confused with a painted finish....
this is a beautiful natural translucent finish where all the grain and knots within
the wood are still visible. Very Shabby Chic!.

Painted pine furniture is a very costly and time consuming process when done right as it is here.
All our Painted furniture is professionally spray painted with up-to 5 coats by our experienced
apprenticed trained painter! Any colour available we simply need the
Ral code. Farrow & Ball paints may also be applied at an additional charge simply
contact us for a free no obligation quote.
BTW if you would like to have a bash at painting it yourself then
we can supply you your furniture in bare wood (I.T.W) with a 5% discount.
