Delivery Information

Quality furniture takes time to build and deliver so if you don't want to wait, then we may not be for you. But if you want your furniture built with care, precision & patience then we probably are. All our furniture is hand built, to-order so our lead times can be quite long. We use our own double crewed vans for all of our deliveries and cover most of the UK mainland, offering a prestege "white glove" level service to a room of your choice, and whats more, we do it for free!

 
Of course, sometimes it may take slightly longer to do everything for ourselves this way but we've found it to be by far the most professional and reliable solution to our transport needs so please be patient with us, we'd much rather get everything right for you first time. We deliver seven days a week and generally agree delivery appointments with time slots and contact numbers for the van crew around two to four weeks in advance then phone ahead from the road on the day when around 30 minutes away. While you are waiting for your furniture to arrive our friendly team will always be on hand to discuss any problems you may have, and keep you up to date with the manufacture process.

We're strictly UK mainland only, so unless special permission & arrangements are made in advance we're unable to deliver to the highlands & islands of scotland, Isle of man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, ROI or postcodes IV, HS, ka27-28, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50
Our manufacture process typically follows these 5 stages:

All the information regarding the item of furniture you have chosen, including any special instructions such as colour or size, is written onto a numbered building ticket. A confirmation email is then sent to you with the numbers that have been assigned to your order. For example,

Please make a note of this number as you will need it if you contact us about your order.
Your building ticket is then added to the building queue. This is where the majority of the 30 working days we quote upon order is spent up - but don't worry, we won't forget about you!
Obviously it doesn't take us that long to make a bookcase, desk or cabinet, but before we can start making your furniture we have to be fair to those customers in front of you in the queue and make theirs first. Our furniture is very much in demand and at any given time we have well over 200 people in our building queue (During peak periods this can jump to nearly 400 orders). We build as quickly as we can whilst paying close attention to detail. We cap our lead-times at 30 working days (6 weeks) although in our industry a lead time of 8-10 weeks is often considered normal.

The Build
Phew! The wait is coming to an end. Your building ticket has made it to the front of the queue and has been assigned to one of our skilled cabinet makers for individual production. We promise not to rush this part, "Measure twice and cut once" is our motto.
Once built, your piece of furniture is then passed on to one of our skilled polishers for waxing or allocated to our resident furniture painter. If you have ordered the painted option on your furniture this process will take a little longer as we literally have to wait and watch the paint dry (all 5 coats of it)!
While your furniture is being produced one of our admin team will be in touch with you by email to make arrangements for delivery. Moving large items of furniture of our size, weight and quality around the country can be a logistical headache sometimes. Most of our furniture is simply too big to send by postal couriers, so we use our own special delivery vans.

The
Delivery
Your furniture is carefully loaded onto one of our vans, wrapped in blankets and strapped into place along with other pieces of furniture scheduled for delivery in your county and surrounding areas.
Please note: Possible delays may arise during this stage if you live in remote, hard to reach areas. Please check our 'remote delivery areas' to see if your postcode is included.
5.
Arrival
We hope once you see your furniture you'll understand why we are so busy. We work as quickly as we can without compromising on quality and we are sure you will be delighted with your new, custom made piece of beautiful solid pine furniture. We very much appreciate your patience during these stages and understand that like anyone else you want your furniture as quickly as possible.
We are doing everything we can to keep up with the 'ever growing' demand for our wonderful furniture. We have recently moved into a 14,000sq.ft. factory and are currently on the look out for more cabinet makers, polishers and delivery staff to join our friendly team.

Last but not least, please remember when leaving feedback, that our standard lead time is 30 working days (not including weekends & bankholidays) plus anaditional 3-5 for delivery. Estimated delivery dates are clearly displayed in all our listings.

We always treat our delivery estimates as targets to beat and often deliver much sooner than the given estimates. Please don't leave negative ratings for delivery if we have met our delivery target
