UK Shipping Orders are shipped by Royal Mail First Class post, Unless per item description.
Delivery Schedule
Orders received and cleared funds received before 4pm on a working day will be despatched the same day, providing the product is in stock. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your order, provided you have supplied us with a valid email address. On the rare occasion that the goods are not in stock we will let you know via email that there has been a delay in sending your order. We will endeavour to get these items to you within 2 weeks of receiving your order. If the delay in delivery is unacceptable to you we will cancel your order and payment or, if payment has already been processed, we will refund any payment taken once you have advised us that the product(s) are no longer required.
Missing Deliveries
All UK orders are sent out by either Royal Mail 1st Class post,Signed for, Special Delivery or courier and should reach you within 2 working days. An order is considered lost by the Royal Mail if it has not been delivered within 15 working days. If your order fails to be delivered, please notify us by telephone (02392 556010) or email using our contact form. For higher value items we recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery which allows you to track the progress of your package online and insures your goods for up to £500. If you need to claim from the Royal Mail for lost or damaged items you can do this online or download a printable form (P58) from Royal Mail Lost Items.
Tax Charges
Hampshire batteries are VAT registered. VAT invoices/receipts will be issued with all orders and despatched with goods. Our VAT registration number is 904 122667.
Damaged or incorrect Goods
All deliveries should be inspected on arrival. If there are any signs of damage or errors in items received you should inform us as soon as possible but within 24 hours of receipt of the product. We will always replace damaged or incorrect goods so long as you inform us within 24 hours of receipt and returned within 7 days.
Returns Policy
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers have the right to cancel their order within 7 working days of taking delivery. The customer has the right to inspect the goods and must make sure they remain undamaged and unused. Cancellation must be in a written form, either in the form of email or letter sent to our address as listed on the contact page of this site. All goods must be returned with packaging intact. We can only offer a refund on products returned to us if they are returned in re-saleable condition and have not been removed from their original packaging. Please return products to us with a note explaining why the product is being returned and giving your invoice number, this will allow us to process your returned item and refund as efficiently as possible. Items are returned at the customer's cost, we will refund to you the cost of the unwanted product less our delivery or postage costs in sending the goods.
Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not pass your details on to a third party and will only contact you in matters relating to your order or future offers if you sign up to our newsletter.
