About HamPlace:

After being as ham for almost 20 years in Hong Kong, I dropped the call-sign long time ago (for those who are not familiar, hams in Hong Kong have call-sign VR2...). However I do enjoy electronic designs and experimenting now. Due to job nature, I am quite involved in developing electronic circuitry. As with other fellows, I enjoy very much on my work.

I started selling electronic parts in my own name, derektse9016, in eBay in 2003. Now with more items that I am going to list, I think it is best to host an eBay store.

The store is named HamPlace, hoping that this will be one of your favourite places to visit on looking for electronic parts. Most of the parts are hard-to-find items, some are surplus from productions and some are from project lab. You may be able to locate parts in your area but the price may not be good to you. As I bought them in large volume for production, they are priced low and I can pass them to you. I do have competitive shipping rates worldwide and to my best knowledge, the Hong Kong Post Office is very efficient on dispatching things out ... worldwide. Therefore I am sure you will find HamPlace helpful to your projects.

Please note that HamPlace sometimes doesn't show up on the search listing, even though I have the items you want. This is how the system handles the inventory listing for eBay stores. Therefore I encourage visitors to bookmark my store or go directly to my HamPlace to see if I have your items. I would certainly put more goodies into my store.

I urged to provide the best service to you, so please write to me on any matters concerned. Drop me a mail if you can't locate some items that you are looking for. They may probably be sitting in one of the shelves in the lab room and I missed to list them. If you want me to develope some kits for you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I would consider that in my coming projects.
