| In May of 2008 eBay changed the feedback policy in a number of ways. One of the more important changes was to base seller search priority and fee discounts on Detailed Seller Ratings (DSR) – the star ratings. eBay tells buyers that a 4 rating is satisfactory yet a seller will actually be suspended with an average rating in any category below 4.3.
I try to provide 5-star service to my customers. That’s what they deserve. As of this writing I have a 100% positive feedback rating and DSR’s in the 4.8 to 4.9 range. I’m proud of that but a few low DSR ratings can quickly drop the monthly DSR in a category to the dangerous 4.3 level.
So, I ask you, my customer, that if you feel I did not provide 5-star service to contact me before leaving any feedback. I am sure that we can work out the problem so that you are satisfied .
Thanks for your consideration
