We use use specialist next-day courier services for large items and Royal Mail second class post for small parcel and letter sized items.
We endeavour to dispatch orders on the working day following receipt of cleared funds into our account.
We ask buyers to please make sure that the address registered to their PayPal and eBay complies fully with the Royal Mail web site for the destination as we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery when buyers have provided incorrect or incompete address or post code.
Couriered Items - UK delivery is normally effected some 24 to 48 hours from date of dispatch for couriered items. To ensure our courier is able to effect smooth delivery we ask butyers to provide a day time telephone contact number.
Consumers should only sign unreservedly for couriered deliveries if the packaging is undamaged.
Posted Items - The timing of delivery of smaller items is in the hands of Royal Mail - usually 3 to 5 working days. however, the Royal Mail web site states that it can take up to 15 working days before an item of mail is deemed to be lost.
Should a customer require a signed for or other enhanced (speedier) delivery service other than Royal Mail 2nd class mail we ask them to contact us before paying for their order so that we may adjust the invoice accordingly.
Should damage be found on unpacking a consignment received by mail or courier the consumer should advise Harrier Music Limited within a period of 48 hours of delivery with full details of the consignment, invoice record number and the damage thereto.
Where damage has occurred the buyer should retain all pacaging and the goods for further inspection and if requested returned to Harrier Music to fulfill courier/Royal Mail claim requirements. It is implicit within the contract that the consumer will make every effort to comply with the requirements required to make a claim for compensation against the courier including the return of the damaged goods and its original packaging to Harrier Music.
In cases of compensation against Royal Mail for damage to or loss of goods, after a period of 15 working days of dispatch (for UK deliveries - other delivery areas require longer - please read Royal Mail web site for details), and upon subsequent advice of the non-delivery from the buyer, Harrier Music will send a Royal Mail claim form to the buyer for part completion and return. Once the part completed, signed form is received by Harrier Music together with hte damaged item together with the packaging thereof a replacement will be dispatched to the buyer and Harrier Music will continue the claim against Royal Mail.
Please note: Replacement orders will only be sent where there are no on-going disputes open between buyer and seller.
Alternatively, the buyer may make a claim directly to Royal Mail for compensation for loss or damage to a purchase in which case Harrier Music will provide all internal documentation enabling the buyer to do so.
All storage of goods during the claim process will be for the consumer’s account.
MULTI ITEM SHIPMENTS - not applicable for "Trade" purchases
Many of our items are priced with UK delivery included in the purchase price. However, for those items where a delivery charge is shown separately; where a customer has purchased more than one item and wishes to claim a discount for shipment costs of a multi-item shipment such recalculation of costs will be calculated as follows:
The highest standard shipping cost for any of the items purchased within the consignment will be added to, half the standard shipping cost of the second highest shipping cost, one third of the third highest shipping cost, one fourth of the fourth highest shipping cost...etc.
Example: A purchase of three amplifiers of different size. (The prices of shipping costs used below are for example purposes only and do not relate to actual shipping charges).
Highest shipping cost (largest amp.) £11.95. One half of second highest shipping cost (middle sized amp.) £10.00. One third of third highest shipping cost (smallest amp.) £6.00.
Therefore, total shipping cost £18.95, instead of full standard cost of £27.95.
A saving of £9.00

2. Any claim for multi shipping discount must be made prior to payment of invoice.
