Grotec was opened in 2001 and run by a like minded group of individuals who also believe knowlage is power, and like a new challenge every day. We have over 100 years of combined growing experience and have won many awards from local allotment groups and horticultral assocations.
We have a wide range of stock on the premises including all the top brands and everone is welcome.
We are in the process of expanding into new premises which will allow us to stock much more hydroponic equipment and open a Bonsai Cafe where people can relax, have a coffee, check out the Bonsai showroom and even doing a little surfing the web.
We have several celeberity coustomers who prefere to remain nameless as well as Doctors, Solicitors, Barristers, Teachers and the usual blend of market gardeners, self employed entrupeners and dedicated hobby growers.
We are two minutes from Junction 20 of the M62 and only 10 mins away from Manchester, however since we started doing mail order we have a very wide coustomer base geographicly, the website has played a big part in spreading our wings, and is a fully e-commerce site and has developed good relations not only with coustomers but also with shops in other countries.
