The Matchmen Angling Centre was established in 1978 and has been serving the local community and recently online shoppers ever since. We recently re branded ourselves to cater for the new emerging carp fishing scene and take the store to the next level, changing our name and logo to Going Fishing Tackle in 2018 after 40 years. We pride ourselves in offering quality Coarse and Carp tackle and also range of Fishing Baits. We offer an excellent customer service experience , just ask anyone that has visited or purchased from us. We are always on hand to offer friendly advice about tackle, rigs, hook tying and the basics of fishing in general. Maggots, casters and Worms are usually in stock. We offer local knowledge about rivers, canals and commercial venues , club rules , which baits are catching at the moment and cost , this way you can be prepared before you venture out.
