I am happy to be able to tell you that following the royal mail strikes I have managed to source one or two other options for delivery. These are cheaper for the heavier items, but not necessarily suitable for the smaller banner orders, so I have linked them to my card blanks as these are the most costly to send.
One is run by home delivery network, but not based upon door to door delivery.
It will cost only £4.50 to send large orders by this method, it goes from my local participating paypoint store to yours, where they contact you to collect the item at your convenience. Bearing in mind the weight of some of these orders this would only be suitable if you have access to a car to collect the order.
The other option is for a door to door service, again by home delivery network and will cost you just £7.50.
