Before bidding always consider the total amount you are prepared to pay for an item and ignore the constituent elements.  To help you here are my standard S&H charges which are designed to cover the cost of getting my items through ebay and into you hands.

Unless stated on an auction the standard S & H fees to be added to your invoice are as set out below.  I operate this standard for all customers winning auctions without exception.  My charges are fixed whereas the costs I suffer may not.  That is my problem.

If you are not going to be happy with these then it is better you don’t bid.  If you do bid good luck and if you win enjoy.  I will always endeavour to provide that great service so many of you have already enjoyed.

Charges for Europe and ROW. include postage by airmail irrespective of auction price.  Reductions available for surface post (not Europe as it is not available) which is slow, 4-6 week to the USA

A mixture of boxes and packets follows the above principle with boxes counted first and then packets.  In such cases the S&H cost of the packets is on the assumption the other items were packets and hence lower rates will be charged.

This cost is after the near 10% fee charged by ebay following the recent hike in their charges. 

If items are comparable in size, e.g. gloves I will apply a similar basis and combine with similar items.  Gloves would be combined with stockings.

Payment Terms

I will only apply the reductions where there is a single payment for items ending in a single seven day period (this does not include two Sundays).  Payment is requested within seven days of an auction end, i.e. within five working days.

I may remind you after three days (and that is all it will be) but then issue non paying final reminders at the earliest possible time.  No further non-payment reminders will be sent.  My next action will be to

1.      Claim a final value credit and register an unpaid item strike

2.      Bar non payers from future auctions

3.      Post negative feedback

Apologies for this note but it is the best way of conveying this important information to you without detracting from the item listings.  I only hope it will not need revision but if it does I will highlight the fact on current listings
