Stock:
All items listed within our eBay shop are subject to stock availability. Generally most items are stock items (in accordance with below) and when in stock are available for dispatch within 2 working days (subject to our terms and conditions and dispatch times on individual item listing pages).
Occassionally, especially during busy periods, we may run out of, or be low on stock where we have received large quantities of orders for any given item, over a short period (i.e. weekends, or where our offices have been closed for holiday etc.), and therefore it is not possible to immediately dispatch your order. If this happens we will notify you by email to advise you that the item is out of stock and when we hope to be able to dispatch your order to you, and you will receive a further email (dispatch notification) to confirm the disptach once your order has been posted.
Dispatch:
Orders received and paid (cleared payments only) are downloaded and processed at approximately 9:30am daily and where possible, are dispatched within 2 working days (subject to stock availability), unless otherwise stated on the individual item listings.
Orders received after 09:30am during weekdays or on a Saturday/Sunday, Bank Holidays or when our offices are closed for other reasons, will be processed and dispatched (subject to cleared payment and stock availability) within the next 2 working days, unless otherwise stated on the individual item listings.
Orders received during holiday/shutdown periods will not be processed until offices re-open. However during such periods buyers will be informed/notified of the closure, processing timescales via a notice displayed on our eBay shop homepage,and standard eBay 'Holiday Notification Message/Alert will be displayed on each individual listings. In addition to this an automated 'Winning Buyer Notification' email will be sent to each buyer advising/notifying them of the closure upon making a purchase.
Where multiple orders are placed, we will always endeavour to send these all together as one package, in line with our environmental policy to reduce packaging, and to prevent loss in transit. In circumstances where more than one item has been ordered and any given item is temporarily out of stock, we shall hold all items on back-order until we can send the order in full. If items are required urgently buyers should contact us to arrange part delivery.
Please note orders are only dispatched once payment has been made/cleared. If paying by Credit/Debit Card (UK customers only), the buyer should call Customer Services on 07531 006260 during office hours (09:30am-4:30pm Mon, Tues, Thurs or Fri) to make their payment over the telephone. If paying by PayPal e-cheque, Personal Cheque or Postal Order your order will not be dispatched until the payment has cleared, typically, this is 7 working days from receipt, however please be aware in some cases PayPal e-cheque payment can take up to 14 working days to clear (please refer to PayPal for more information).
Office hours can vary at particular times of the year i.e. Christmas, Annual holiday/shutdown periods. We will notifty buyers of any changes to our usual office hours by a notice on our eBay shop homepage, by a standard eBay 'Holiday Notification Message/Alert' which is displayed on each of our individual listings and via the 'Winning Buyer Notifications'.
Please note no orders, queries etc. will be processed outside of our normal, or notified change to office hours.
Delivery:
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, Ireland and the EU (Europe). Please refer to "Postage & Payments" tab on individual listings for details of current delivery destinations. Please also note deliveries to remote areas may take longer than the stated delivery times.
Delivery times, as stated below are 'average' and are based on the guidance of Royal Mail. Delivery times may vary from these guidelines as a result of peak times i.e. Christmas, National Bank Holidays and Royal Mail strike action, National/International natural disasters (i.e. Volcanic ash clouds etc.) or location of destination (i.e. international orders) and as a result are out of our control.
'From Hen to Wed' can not, and will not be held liable for variance and/or delay in delivery times as a result of the above, and/or where our office hours have changed (please see below).
All items listed which have a total packaged weight of under 1kg are dispatched using either Royal Mail's standard 1st, 2nd class post or Standard Airmail which typically takes between 1-5 working days.
Any orders received which have a packaged weight of 1kg or over will not be dispatched using any of the above services as weight restrictions apply, but instead will be dispatched using a 3-5 working day courier. Should your packaged order fall into this category we shall contact you via eBay messages within 2 working days of receipt of your order/cleared payment to advise accordingly.
We also offer an optional Recorded Delivery or International Recorded Signed-for option on all orders. Royal Mail's First Class Recorded Delivery service and will generally take 1-5 working days to arrive. (Please see our 'overview of delivery options' section below for further details). Orders over £30.00 (excluding p&p and on any orders where FREE p&p is selected) will be posted via the Royal Mail Recorded Signed-For service, this upgrade will be funded by From Hen to Wed.
Please note if you opt for the standard 1st or 2nd class/Airmail delivery method, From Hen to Wed will not be held liable for any order(s) lost in transit which, and/or which are not supported by a 'verified/confirmed' PayPal status. Any claims for orders which are sent by standard 1st or 2nd class mail/Airmail and lost in transit are the responsibility of the buyer and not the seller, and should be claimed back by the seller via Royal Mail.
If you are a buyer within the UK and require your order urgently (i.e. next working day), we recommend that you upgrade from the standard 1st, 2nd Class/Recorded delivery and opt for Royal Mail's Special Delivery - Next Day service, or Special Delivery Saturday Service. This is a guaranteed next day service and provides an online tracking system of your delivery. If you would like us to send your order by Special Delivery - Next Day or Saturday service, please contact us for a price, as it does vary dependant on the overall weight of your order.
Please note our offices hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9.30am-4.30pm (closed Wednesday's), therefore if you contact us outside these hours regarding the Special Delivery service it may delay the dispatch of your order. In addition we can only guarantee to dispatch orders by Special Delivery on the same day of purchase subject to cleared payment being received by 2pm (please see our 'Dispatch' section above for details).
All Recorded Signed-for, Special Delivery and International Recorded Signed-for orders require a signature on delivery. If there is no one available on delivery to sign for the parcel, a card will be left and the goods will be returned to the Royal Mail local depot for collection. Please note proof of name/address will be required when collecting your item from the depot.
International customers - please note the process of collecting your item if you are out at time of delivery may vary from Country to Country - please contact your Mail Service provider for details.

The Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day service guarantees to deliver your order by 1.00pm on the next working day (Monday to Friday). Some remote places such as the Channel Islands and Highlands may take longer to deliver to, but are still guaranteed to be delivered within three working days by 5.30 pm.
Royal Mail - Airmail
All International orders (outisde of the UK - but within Europe, EU) are dispatched using our standard delivery service via Royal Mail's Airmail delivery service which aims to deliver your order within 3-5 working days after dispatch. This However, it is not a guaranteed timescale and can, on occasions take longer.
Royal Mail insists that you wait at least 20 working days from the date the item(s) were expected to arrive after the date of dispatch before they will consider the item to be officially delayed. Therefore we are unable to take any action to refund or replace, or to track undelivered items until this time has elapsed.
Royal Mail - Airmail International Recorded Signed-for
Royal Mail's International Recorded Signed-for delivery service aims to deliver your order within 3-5 working days after dispatch. This However, it is not a guaranteed timescale and can, on occasions take longer.
