Delivery Timescales

The majority of orders paid for before 4pm (on a working day) will be posted the same day, if not the order will definitely go the following working day.

Unfortunately though we have no control over the package once its in the Royal Mail system, I will though do my best to get into the system as efficiently and quickly as possible. (see Royal Mail Performance below)

The "quoted" timescales for standard delivery by Royal Mail are shown on their website as;

UK - 1 to 2 working days

Europe - 3  to 5 working days

Rest of the World (USA/Hong Kong etc) 5 to 7 working days

Although the majority of mail "should" arrive in the times quoted above, it is important to note that delays DO HAPPEN in the Royal Mail system (see Royal Mail Performance below) and the above timescales are best case scenarios.

Unfortunately I have absolutely no control over the package once its entered their system and I cant guarantee they always achieve the timescales THEY promise..

If it is taking longer than you think it should let me know and although there is little I can do about it at least I will be aware theres a problem and I can perhaps offer another solution.

Of course if you want to guarantee a delivery please let me know prior to paying and I will find you a price for a "guaranteed" service, this will be either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery in the UK.

For overseas I will find you a price for International Signed For delivery which is a trackable service.

Please note that there is no tracking on the standard International Air Mail - Royal Mail charge extra if you require tracking.

As stated above Royal Mail do "QUOTE" certain timescales for deliveries, it should be noted though that they certainly DONT hit those all of the time.

Their targeted performance rate for 1st Class letters is 93% which means IF they hit their targets theres still 7% of deliveries being delivered late !!

The last publicised figures (2010 - 2011) for this area of Royal Mails business shows they failed to narrowly hit this target by achieving 92.7%

Unfortunately there is no data available for how long this 7% actually took or if they were actually delivered at all so please bear this in mind if your package from me is late,

I will have got it into the system on time BUT using these figures as a rule at least 1 in 10 WILL probably be late - frustratingly I cant do anything to avoid this happening.
