Descriptions We want our customers to be entirely satisfied that what they are buying is as seen and described. With the exception of brand new items where our stock photos are sometimes used all photographs are of the actual item offered for sale and we normally provide several pictures to give you a good indication of the general condition. We describe all items to the best of our ability and point out any faults that we have found, however we do not purport to be experts in all the items we offer and welcome any questions you may have prior to placing your bid.
Condition The majority of items we sell are antiques or collectables which are of considerable age and are therefore likely to exhibit consistent signs of wear and use. We try to be as honest as possible in describing any visible faults that we can see but please bear in mind that what one person considers acceptable wear another may not. If you have any particular concerns about the condition of any item please ask us before placing your bid.
Weights and Measurements All weights and measurements are given as an appoximate guide only.
Payment Payment to be received within 7 days. UK Buyers - Our prefered method of payment is PayPal which allows your goods to be dispatched quickly. Cheques and bankers drafts (drawn on a UK bank in GBP) are welcome and will be cleared prior to shipping which typically takes up to 7 working days. British Postal Orders in GBP are also accepted. International Buyers - Due to the high charges imposed by UK banks, payment can only be accepted by PayPal.
Non Paying Bidders If we don't receive payment within 7 days we will follow ebay's Unpaid Item Procedure to recover the fees we are charged when the item is sold. This may result in an unpaid strike being recorded against you which could effect your future ability to buy on ebay.
Refund and Returns Policy If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it within 7 days of receiving it for a refund. If you are returning an item where there has been no fault by ourselves (for example you don't like it or it does not fit) we will not refund the return postage cost. In the unlikely event that an item has been misrepresented or is faulty we will replace it (where possible) or refund the price you paid including the cost of returning it to us by standard post. Any item returned within 7 days of receipt under our money back guarantee must be returned complete with all supplied manuals, tags, stickers, warranty forms, etc. No refunds will be made until the item has been received and inspected by us. To speed up the refund process please email us before returning any item so we can provide you with a Returns Control Number.
Shipping We ship most items Worldwide except for items where the listing states otherwise. We dispatch goods Monday to Friday and aim to dispatch the business day following receipt of cleared funds. Our postage charges include not only the actual postage costs but also a contribution towards the cost of packing materials, labels, labour and administration.
UK Postage We normally offer the choice of either 'Recorded Delivery' or 'Special Delivery Next Day'. Recorded delivery provides compensation up to a maximum of £46 but excludes jewellery, watches and a number of other items. Special delivery is recommended for all valuables and offers compensation up to £500.
International Shipping Most items are sent by 'Royal Mail International Signed For' service which is covered as standard by insurance up to a value of £46 ($75).
Import Duties and Taxes International buyers are responsible for any import duty or taxes which may be payable. We will not underdeclare any item as such action is a criminal offence so please do not ask.
Collection in Person We regret that due to security and insurance requirements all stock now has to be stored and dispatched from independent secure facilities and can not be kept at our administrative office so collection in person is no longer an option.
Feedback When you have received and inspected your item please leave feedback to confirm it has arrived safely and that you are happy with your purchase. Our system automatically leaves feedback when a buyer leaves positive feedback for us. If you experience a problem or are unhappy please contact us before leaving negative feedback to allow us the chance to resolve the situation with you directly.
Contacting Us We want you to be completely happy with your purchase and hope you will buy from us again. If you have any questions or problems either pre or post sale please contact us by email either through the 'Ask Seller A Question' link or ebay message system and we will do our best to answer your question or solve any problems amicably. We normally respond to emails within 24 hours Monday to Friday. If you have purchased an item and would prefer to telephone please use the telephone number on your invoice.
