Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is your return policy?
A: I do my best to take detailed photographs of all the paintings. If you receive the painting and it does not meet or exceed your expectations I have a 14 day return policy. Please contact me by email.
 Q: Do you combine shipping?
A: Definitely! I am very happy to combine shipping. Many people have questions about this, so I will explain how it works. I will hold the paintings for you for up to month. When you win the first auction I will send an invoice for that painting. When you win additional paintings I will send invoices with the shipping charges adjusted down.
Q: How is combined shipping calculated?
A: In this hypothetical scenario let's say you win four individual auctions and the shipping costs for them are $9.00, $12.00, $16.00 and $18.00. I can usually put all four paintings in with the one largest, so the total combined shipping charge is the highest of the shipping charges - $18.00 in this case.
Q: How much is the Shipping and Handling Charge?
A: At the top of each listing the shipping charge is listed, it is a flat fee for domestic and international.
 Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, for most of the paintings that are 16x20" and smaller. View the listing for that individual painting to make certain.
Q: Are these original paintings or prints?
A: Original! I have yet to offer any signed prints for sale. You are buying an original painting that is very much one of a kind. You can usually see evidence of each bristle on the brush left in the thick paint.
Q: When can I expect my order to arrive?
A: That depends on where you live. I generally ship paintings on Monday and Friday. If the auction ends Sunday night and payment is made by noon Monday, your painting will usually go out in the mail Monday. If not I will probably need to wait until Friday. Most paintings are sent USPS and they will send you tracking info by email.
 Q: Do you accept commissions?
A: Rarely. I generally feel that trying to capture the likeness when I have the desire to take the painting in another direction limits my creativity. Some people have proposed commissions based on their life experiences and things like this are of greater interest to me. Feel free to ask.
Q: Why are the paintings numbered, what is 'e123'
A: All of the paintings are scanned/photographed and cataloged on the website padw0rny.com I sold maybe 30 paintings back in high school and college that are not on the site. But in the past 5 years EVERY painting or drawing that has been purchased or left the studio has been cataloged on the sites.
Q: I can't afford a particular painting, can I print it from your website?
A: Of course! Please feel free to save any of the images to your hard drive or print any out that you would like to have. I only ask that you credit me by labeling the image you save with my name or putting my name as the artist on the print. If you would like some free 4x6 prints of paintings, please send a S.A.S.E to my address on auction page.
Q: What is the dimension, substrate, medium etc.
A: Below each of the top images of the painting on the auction listing are the details of the painting. 'Artist, title, medium/substrate, dimensions, signature'
Q: I want to make an offer but I am not sure if it is too low?
A: No offer has ever been taken as an insult. I am very happy people are taking an interest in my work, I may not be willing to accept the offer if it is too low but I will never take it as an insult. I always respond or counter offer and see if we can find something that works well for both of us.
Q: My question isn't covered here?
A: Please feel free to email me with any other questions or if you need me to clarify something covered above. Thanks :)
