We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Fierce PC. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.

RMA Number Required

When returning an item for any reason you must contact us first to obtain an RMA number. Please e-mail us at returns@fiercepc.co.uk or phone on 0844 332 1223 and we will issue one to you. If you return an item without the RMA number this may result in the item being rejected or returned to you.

Items Damaged in Transit

If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 3 working days. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, You must sign the carrier's delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method. You can use our free collection service (an e-mail address and printer are needed) or you can return the item at your own cost. In some cases we may reimburse reasonable return carriage costs, e.g. Royal Mail Recorded, but only when agreed in advance. We will not reimburse Express or Special Delivery costs.

Damaged Processors/CPU

Processors may only be returned for defective exchange. You must purchase a compatible heatsink and fan on the same order as the processor in order to preserve your warranty or exchange privilege. We are not able to accept returns for refunds on processors under any circumstances. All processors will be inspected and tested upon return and any damage caused by poor packaging, overclocking, or other tampering with the processor will be cause for the return to be refused, and exchange denied.

Additional CPU Warranty Terms

All defective and DOA CPUs will be replaced upon return. Fierce PC will not cross-ship replacement CPUs. Physically damaged CPUs cannot be returned to Fierce PC, including physical damage due to improper installation. Announcing a CPU as defective and requesting a Refund does not automatically waive the restocking fee. Defective CPUs will be replaced, not refunded. Physical damage to any product will void the product's warranty. Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage. Fierce PC encounters bent pins regularly when inspecting physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may result in applicable warranty coverage being voided. Because Intel and AMD do not accept physically damaged processors, Fierce PC will return any physically damaged CPU to you at your expense.

You can use our free collection service (an e-mail address and printer are needed) or you can return the item at your own cost. In some cases we will reimburse reasonable return carriage costs, e.g. Royal Mail Recorded. We will not reimburse Express or Special Delivery costs. Return carriage refunds must be agreed in advance of the return. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage. Items Faulty in Warranty Period

If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's more than 28 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. In some cases, manufacturers provide a specialist full on-site service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience which we recommend you use in order to correct the fault quickly.

If you Change Your Mind

If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 days of receipt. Once the item is received at Fierce PC, we'll issue a full refund for the product. If an item is returned with damage we may issue a re-stocking fee of which you will be advised at the time. Distance Selling Regulations

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 generally apply to sales to consumers made by sellers acting in the course of a business, which have been made at a distance. In other words, where there's no face-to-face contact between the seller and the consumer before the contract is made. The Distance Selling Regulations apply to items purchased via Buy It Now listings and Second Chance Offers on eBay.co.uk. However, they don't apply to auction format listings on eBay.co.uk.

The Regulations also provide a period of seven working days after the date of receipt within which the consumer can cancel the contract (often referred to as the "cooling off" period) and get their money back, including the original postage and packing charges. The consumer can be asked to return the goods at their own expense, but only if the seller informed them of this requirement before the contract was made (otherwise, the seller is responsible for collecting the goods). If a business seller has not provided the information required under the Distance Selling Regulations (as discussed above), the buyer will have up to 3 months to cancel the contract and get their money back.

The cancellation rights do not apply to certain items including software, audio or video recordings that have been unsealed, perishable goods such as food or flowers, or items that have been made to order.
