Ordered 5 of these slats as I was restoring a very old victoriana bench, items arrived quite quickly and well packaged, But 2 of the slats had a long scratch on them. Contacted seller as I presumed he would change them but to my surprise I was told that this was caused by the cutting machine during manufacture and that I should sand them! Considering they advertise that the slats are of good quality I don't expect to have to sand them myself on delivery.

Good seller and timber merchant. Excellent description and cataloging of the wood. High quality PAR at a great price made even better with combined shipping of up to 25kg (£10 as far as the Central Belt of Scotland). Delivery was excellent and the wood arrived in perfect condition. Overall for me this is a better way to purchase hardwood. Just make sure to combine the shipping where possible by contacting the seller.

Excellent service and good price. I needed a size that wasn't listed so emailed to request a quote late on Saturday afternoon. The wood was at my door on Tuesday, only beaten by the shipping refund (I bought 3 lots and these were all sent for one shipping fee).
