Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed on this page are applicable to all items sold by Fancy’s Bargain’s. These terms may be updated occasionally, last updated on 13th June 2010 at 9am. The terms and conditions which are applicable to a buyer are those which are present on this page when a buyer agrees to a purchase e.g at the time a bid is placed or a Buy It Now item is ordered. These terms and conditions are in addition to any set by Ebay and Paypal.

Payments

1. Payment is expected within 4 days of the sale date, this is the end date of the auction for auction items or the order date for Buy It Now items. Should a buyer be unable to pay within this time they should contact us prior to bidding or ordering. If payment has not been received within this 4 day period and the buyer has not contacted us then an Unpaid Item Dispute will be initiated with Ebay so we can try to complete the purchase in a timely manner.
2. Payment methods accepted are Paypal, cheque and postal order. Should a buyer wish to pay by cash, please note this will only be accepted if sent by a secure postal service which requires a signature upon delivery (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery) and must be agreed by Fancy’s Bargain’s before posted so please contact us via email to discuss this option.
3. Buyers are advised to obtain a proof of posting for payments sent through the post. Fancy’s Bargain’s can not be held responsible for payments which do not reach us when sent using a postal service. 

Shipping

1. All items are dispatched from the Uniked Kingdom.
2. Items will be dispatched within 1-3 business day of cleared payment being received. Buyers should note that cheques can take up to 5 days to clear and Paypal e-cheques take around 10 days. No items will be posted until payment has cleared.
3. Items will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class unless otherwise stated in the listing details. Fancy’s Bargain’s will not be held responsible for delays in delivery caused by Royal Mail. Whilst most items will arrive in a day or two, some items can take up to 21 days as stated on the Royal Mail website, so please allow this as a maximum delivery time.
4. Fancy’s Bargain’s cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. Should a buyer require additional insurance or speed of delivery, we are happy to send items via Royal Mail Special Delivery. The buyer should contact Fancy’s Bargain’s for details of this service if required.
5. Items sent to destinations outside of the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes, and/or customs fees which may be imposed by the local goverment when a package reaches it's destination. The buyer is responsible for paying any additional charges for customs clearance so we advise buyers to contact their local post office to enquire about any such charges before making a purchase.
6. Postage discounts can be applied when multiple items are purchased. Buyers should wait for Fancy’s Bargain’s to send a combined invoice before arranging payment. Should a buyer make individual payments for each item purchased, these will be processed separately and will therefore not qualify for combined postage discounts. The value of these discounts will vary depending on the weight of the items purchased.
7. Fancy’ Bargain’s reserve the right to use an alternative postal service than that stated in the listing should the need arise due to excessive weight or value of combined item purchases. Should a buyer wish to order more than one item, it is advised that they contact us for a delivery cost before purchase.
8. The postage and packaging cost is not just to cover the postage amount alone, it covers packaging and travel and parking costs to and from the post office.

Refunds

1. Fancy’s Bargain’s will refund the sale cost of an item should a buyer wish to return it. Buyers should use the Ebay return form or send us an email explaining the intention to return an item before it is sent. All postage and packaging costs are non refundable and the item must be returned within 7 days of the date it was received by the buyer. Items must be returned in their original condition, Fancy’s Bargain’s reserves the right to reduce the refund amount if an item is soiled, smelling of smoke or has pet hairs attached.
2. In the rare event an item is damaged or faulty, Fancy’s Bargain’s will include the postage and packaging costs in the refund, providing a standard first or second class service is used for the return.
3. Buyers should contact us if an exchange of size/colour is required to establish availability. The buyer will be required to pay the additional postage and packaging required for the exchange and the replacement can only be sent once this cleared payment has been received and when the original item has been received.
4. Refunds will be sent to the buyers original payment source e.g. Paypal, unless otherwise requested.
