 TERMS & CONDITIONS 

 

1) PURCHASES - COOLING OFF PERIOD!

Have you purchased your item in error, changed your mind, not quite what you wanted or maybe somebody else has purchased the same thing for you? NO PROBLEM!

Simply return your purchase, unopened (if in blister packaging) and unused, within 14 days of receipt for UK deliveries or 30 days of receipt for overseas deliveries ! The order must be returned complete as was sent to you and in a brand new saleable condition. The return costs will be at your expense but we will refund your original outbound transaction costs including the shipping if applicable! Our Return to Sender policy applies!

Please notify us by ebay message within 7 days of receipt of your order BEFORE returning goods!!!! 

 

2) PAYMENT

FINKLEHORN accepts payment through PayPal in GBP £ Sterling only!

 We only ship goods to the PayPal name & shipping address that has been entered relevant to your ebay transaction!

 

DISCOUNTS

 We apply discounts for combined orders provided that they are to be shipped to the same name & address on the same day in the same consignment. Once a consignment has been shipped a discount cannot be retrospectively applied for additional orders and the new shipping fee will be charged. Discounts for combined shipping are as follow:


* For UK Postcode deliveries - pay the highest applicable postal charge once and the rest of the p&p in that combined order will be waived - FREE of charge!


* For Overseas orders (Non-UK Postcode) - We charge the highest applicable postal charge once then all other items within that combined order are charged at £5.00 per additional item. If the order once packed proves to be lighter than estimated we guarantee to refund any additional expense. You will never pay more than 50p more than the price of the stamp, this is to include the cost of packaging! Finklehorn reserves the right to split the shipment when necessary at no extra charge to the customer.

 

3) SHIPPING

The majority of our items are shipped using Royal Mail.

We ship Monday through Saturday Only!

(Excluding Public Holidays, Royal Mail strikes/industrial action, Force Majeures: circumstances beyond our control: fire, flood, "acts of god", severe snow storms, blizzards etc... We do not ship on  Sunday! )

All orders are shipped as soon as possible, please allow 1 working day for your goods to be despatched after making payment!

We only ship goods by trackable and signature on receipt delivery services.

 

Shipping Methods

Deliveries to UK Postcodes Only: Royal Mail 2nd & 1st Class Recorded Delivery  or Royal Mail Special Delivery

 

OVERSEAS Deliveries including Ireland Eire (Non-UK postcodes): Royal Mail International Signed For:

Please Note: FINKLEHORN has no control over the Postal/Shipping services once your item has been shipped. For overseas deliveries, please also note, that whilst all the appropriate customs declaration forms will be attached to your consignment, it is the responsibility of the purchaser (consignee) to pay for any import fees, if your consignment is stopped by the importing Customs Authorities.

 

ATTEMPTED DELIVERY

If the delivery company (Royal Mail, Parcel Force or Other Courier) has attempted to deliver your consignment but was not able to retrieve a signature for any reason (including a person refusing to sign for a package, nobody home etc..) then the consignment will be deemed to have been delivered within our specified timescales. Your consignment will then be returned to the nearest depot, awaiting your collection. It is the responsibility of the buyer to either collect the consignment or re-arrange with the delivery company a mutually acceptable re-delivery time. For this purpose we send you the tracking references needed via PayPal email. 

 

*** SHIPMENTS RETURNED TO SENDER AS NON-DELIVERABLE

For both UK Postcode and Overseas orders, all our consignments are shipped by Signature on Receipt delivery services. It is very important that if you have not received your consignment within the following timescales after shipping, that you contact your local post/mail delivery depot quoting the shipping service and tracking reference that was sent to you via PayPal email:

             3 days for Special Delivery

           Overseas Deliveries:

      Europe or Worldwide: 10 days

 

 *** If your item is returned to sender and you require the item to be re-shipped, you will be expected to pay any re-shipping and packaging costs.  If however, you require a refund you will loose your original shipping costs as follows: 

For UK Deliveries which include FREE p&p as part of the listing price we DO NOT re-ship items for FREE!

If you require a reshipment, you will be expected to pay the cost of the actual postage as incurred for the original shipment plus an additional fee of £1.00 to cover our administration costs. Because we use recorded/registered postal services, your consignment will have a printed receipt as proof of posting: stating the destination Post Code and the actual price of the postage incurred. This can be scanned and emailed to you as proof of our costs should you require a reshipment or refund.

If you require a refund; then your refund will be the cost of your original transaction LESS the actual postage price as stated on the postage stamp of the original shipment. 

For Overseas deliveries where the order has been returned to sender for whatever reason, we DO NOT re-ship the order! You will receive a refund of your original transaction costs LESS the actual Shipping (p&p) costs. Please note that our overseas deliveries are trackable!

 

 

LOST IN TRANSIT POLICY

Please allow plenty of time for your shipment to arrive. Your purchases will be shipped to you as soon as possible after your payment has cleared.

For UK Postcode deliveries:

Please take note of the delivery deadlines above. If there is no updated information we recommend that you physically visit your local Sorting Office relevant for your Postal District. Please take some ID with you along with your Tracking Reference, you may find that your shipment may be waiting for collection. If however, there is no sign of your delivery then please contact us as soon as possible and we will follow up on your shipment's progress.

Once we have been notified of your delivery delay, if your item has not then been signed for or returned to sender and cannot be tracked by the Postal or Delivery Company by 21 full working days  (working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays, adverse weather conditions or Industrial Action/Strikes) after the despatch of your order, we guarantee to either refund your original transaction costs OR we will re-ship your order again but by express delivery at our extra cost. Please note that if the item has been signed for by someone other than you at your delivery address, FINKLEHORN will not be held liable or obligated to re-ship the order.

For OVERSEAS deliveries:

If your item has not been signed for or returned to sender and cannot be tracked by the Postal or Delivery Company by 60 full working days  (working days does not include Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays, Adverse weather conditions, Industrial Action or Strikes) after the despatch of your order, we guarantee to refund your original transaction costs including shipping. Please note we do not re-ship to overseas customers whose original goods have been lost in transit! If your order has been awaiting your collection and has subsequently been ***returned to sender please refer to the policy above - you will loose your shipping costs! Please note that if the item has been signed for by someone other than yourself at your delivery address FINKLEHORN will not be held liable or obligated to refund your transaction!

 

4) MISSING, DAMAGED or INCORRECT ORDERS 

Please note that all our goods are checked for quantity, quality and that the order has been picked and packed correctly before shipping. Therefore, should your package arrive with anything missing or the wrong item has been sent to you, please ensure that you have notified us through the ebay message system within 1 days (24 hours) of signed receipt of your package. Please note that receipt of your package will be recorded from when the shipment is signed for. Notifications for missing items after this timeframe will not be accepted!

For packages where there are missing items due to damaged cartons, envelopes etc please ensure that you have recorded the damage with the delivery company before accepting receipt of your goods. If the delivery company is not aware of the damage we cannot re-ship goods. It is therefore always best to refuse delivery and notify us immediately rather than accept a damaged delivery. This puts the onus on the delivery company whether it be Royal Mail or an express delivery courier etc..

For items that have been wrongly shipped, it is with very great regret that FINKLEHORN can no longer re-ship goods BEFORE the RETURN has been received back by us! To compensate you for any inconvenience, we will ensure that you are not out of pocket and that you will receive all postage costs once the items have been safely returned.

 

5) RETURNS

It is the responsibility of you the Buyer to ensure that any returns actually reach us! We therefore suggest that items are returned to us by Recorded Delivery. However, should your return get lost in transit, you will need to keep any proof of posting and apply to your Postal Company directly for compensation. We will be happy to provide you with a copy of your original invoice/receipt upon request, to help you in any compensation claims.  


RETURNS OF NON FAULTY GOODS


Will be at the expense of the Buyer and we must receive notification through the eBay message system within 14 days of receipt for UK deliveries or 30 days of receipt for overseas deliveries. The item(s) must be returned complete in it's original packaging, un-opened and fit for re-sale. You will be refunded your original purchase price and shipping costs but not your return postage costs!


RETURNS FOR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If possible always refuse delivery, if your parcel looks to have been damaged in transit eg a big hole in the packaging. If you decide to accept the delivery please make a note on the postie's or delivery driver's paperwork/electronic console that the parcel is damaged and retain the postman's or Delivery Driver's name and/or badge number for reference.

Items that have been damaged during transit can be returned at our expense, however, we must insist that you have notified us through the ebay message system within 3 days (72hours) of receipt! Please note: failure to record with the delivery company that the item was received damaged will delay indefinitely any refunds or exchanges until the claim can be investigated and verified.

 

RETURNS FOR FAULTY GOODS or INCORRECT SHIPMENTS

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all items are fault free, some OEM pre-packaged products cannot be realistically checked before despatch without damaging the presentation cards, blister packaging etc. Therefore, these items are shipped on blind faith to keep the items intact. Our warehouse also checks orders after picking and before despatch to ensure quality and quantity. However, mistakes can be made especially on high volume items.

For RETURNS for both faulty and incorrectly shipped goods, FINKLEHORN will cover your postage for returning the items(s). The RETURN must be shipped by using a signature on receipt service. Usually, Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded for UK or for Overseas customers - Registered Post or a signature on receipt service is sufficient to ensure the safe return. It is however important that the customer realises that if the item goes missing in transit whilst being returned, that it is the sender who must claim compensation direct from the postal/delivery company.

Please note that FINKLEHORN WILL NOT ship a replacement item(s) BEFORE your RETURN has been received back by us!

Once the RETURN has been safely received and signed for by us, FINKLEHORN will refund your return postage costs as stated on the stamp PLUS we will refund your postage costs as per your original transaction. You then have the following options:

  1. Once the faulty or incorrect item has been returned and If you then wish for the item to be replaced, we are happy to re-ship and will do so at our expense by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by 48hr express courier depending on the value and size of your shipment.
  2. If you prefer, we can refund your remaining original transaction costs

  4. If you prefer, we can refund your remaining original transaction costs.
  5. For incorrectly shipped goods we can if necessary ship to an alternative address if the original shipment was to have been for a present.

6) FAULTY GOODS 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE:

*All of our non-consumable products come with a 30 day money back guarantee. If the equipment should fail during normal play and has not been **abused or ***misused and provided you have followed the manufacturers guidelines for use (if supplied), we will either exchange or refund your purchase as you prefer. You will need to return your purchase as it was supplied to you in it’s entirety (less any packaging, header cards etc), after you have notified us through the eBay message system within 30 days from the date you received (signed for) your purchase. Please contact us first before returning your goods, we do pride ourselves on our after sales service and some smaller issues can be resolved quickly and easily before returning your purchase. In any event please contact us through the ebay message system and we always abide by any agreements that are made.  

Please note - that we do not send out replacement products BEFORE the RETURN has been received back by us. If there is a fault with the product/item purchased, then the complete item or order must be returned! If you have lost parts of the product or order then unfortunately we can not accept a return!

Exceptions

*Books, videos and DVD’s which must be returned within 14 days of receipt and must be in a saleable brand new state, no scratches, thumbed pages or chewed up tape! 

**Damages, losses or alterations from it‘s original as supplied state including gluing, attempted repair, fire or heat damage, water or other liquid damage.

***Obviously used with excessive force!

All of the goods we sell are 100% quality checked before despatch and are packaged to ensure that they reach you in the best possible condition. However, we do not have control over the postal services and the way that they treat your package during transit, so if you have any concerns about damages please contact us as soon as possible after receipt so that we can resolve any issues quickly.

Please make your feedback comments fair. We always take the time time to read what you write, so before you leave a neutral or negative please inform us by ebay message so that we at least have the chance to rectify any problems regarding our transaction.
