Terms and Conditions
By using this site, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this site. design ej – bathroomware & lighting reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits.
Order Acceptance and Processing
Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been received and design ej – bathroomware & lighting is satisfied with the integrity of the order.
Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, design ej – bathroomware & lighting is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by late delivery or cancellation of an order or a product.
Placement of an order by you constitutes an offer to enter into an agreement with us (your order). We will email you an Order Confirmation for the sole purpose of confirming the details of your offer. Please note that our Order Confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your offer or reflect the status of your order in any way.
All orders are accepted when your payment is processed. Any email or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email.
design ej – bathroomware & lighting reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate and/or process the order.
All specifications are approximate only and the seller shall have no liability in respect of any deviation there from.
Delivery of Goods
All items remain property of design ej – bathroomware & lighting until paid in full.
All orders will not be dispatched until:

Payment by Credit Card - Credit Card is charged and payment is approved by Banking Institution

Payment by Direct Transfer - Funds are cleared by Banking Institution

Payment by Bank Cheque - Cheques are cleared by Banking Institution

Payment by Money Order - Money Order is received by design ej
The delivery of goods to you is deemed to be a separate contract for services, distinct from your contract to purchase the goods.
Delivery may be effected in one or more installments.
Changes to the delivery address made by the purchaser after the goods have been handed to the delivery company will incur an additional charge of $25.00.
Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. Do not arrange for a plumber to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked for damage.
If for any reason expected delivery will exceed 10 days from the date of payment of order the customer will be informed and given the opportunity to cancel the order.
In certain circumstances where large bulky items are being ordered for delivery to very remote locations there may be an additional carriage charge. If your order falls into this category then you will be notified of the extra cost and given the option of accepting the extra charge or cancelling your order.
Without prejudice to the statutory rights afforded to consumers under Australian law, design ej – bathroomware & lighting accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from its inability to do so resulting from acts of civil commotion, riots, flood, draught, fire, legislation or other factors outside it's control, or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so for reasons of suspicion of credit card fraud or similar, provided that it takes all reasonable steps to notify you within fourteen (14) days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered. In such cases design ej – bathroomware & lighting will not process any payment or will immediately refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from design ej – bathroomware & lighting with sufficient lead time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from such non-shipment.
Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
We will refund the cost of the goods any delivery charge and the cost of returning the goods to us. Your Statutory Rights are Not Affected.
Returns Policy - Changed Your Mind
If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you can return it at any time within 7 days for a full refund less shipping costs. Items returned after 7 days but within 30 days are eligible for a replacement of equivalent value or a credit against any item of higher value. If you cannot find anything that you would like to exchange the item for we will refund you for the item less the actual costs of delivery and collection and a 20% re-stocking charge.
It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods reach us in good condition. They should be well packed and sent to:

We suggest that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.
Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying design ej – bathroomware & lighting
For all item deliveries that arrive with carriers you agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage before signing the drivers delivery note. If you sign for the goods, even if you write the words "Unchecked" or similar on the delivery note, then you are accepting that the goods arrived in good condition and later claims for damages will not be considered. If the driver refuses to wait while you check the goods then you must refuse to accept the delivery and email designej@gmail.com with the details immediately. If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you accepting goods and signing a delivery note without checking the goods for damage.
