Delivery & Returns

Delivery terms

Orders will be dispatched via Royal Mail or Parcel Force for UK deliveries.

We have a 98% success rate in dispatching orders same day if payment is received before 12pm. Each listing will specify which type of delivery option available. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

1st Class Royal Mail - takes 1 to 2 working days after dispatch
2nd Class Royal Mail - takes 3 to 5 working days after dispatch
Special Next Day delivery - delivered next working day before 1pm after dispatch

Parcelforce 24 - takes 1 working day after dispatch
Parcelforce 48 - takes 2 working days after dispatch

For Parcelforce items, the following postcodes can take up to 3 working days for delivery when using either service.

Postcodes: IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE

Saturday and Sundays do not qualify as working days

Please bear in mind those Parcelforce deliveries to Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands, Offshore Islands and Northern Ireland may incur a surcharge. The following postcodes will incur a surcharge.

IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, BT, IM, TR21-25 and Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly

International Deliveries - this will vary from country to country. For deilveries outside the European Union, please note that delivery can take up to 4 weeks due to customs clearance although normally quicker. Please bear in mind deliveries outside the EU will be subject to possible import taxes in your country. Please be aware that parcels to PO Box addresses will be declined in most cases, in particular high value transactions.

Returns

Under our Electric Mania eBay Refund Policy, you have 14 days to cancel an order and return a product to us, providing it is unused and in a saleable condition for a full refund. Where a product is faulty, damaged or described incorrectly we will refund the original delivery charge, but not when a product is simply unwanted*. If you wish to return the unit after 14 days due to changing your mind, there will be a restocking fee as the item is being returned outside the 14 days. This will depend on how long you have had your item and will have to be agreed prior to returning. For graded/refurbished items, minimum 20% restocking fee after 14 day period. For new items, this minimum would apply after 14 days.

*This policy does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty or described goods, or your right to cancel orders under the Distance Selling Regulations.

Except for faulty items, we only accept returns of items that are in the same physical condition as they were supplied. You must also have taken reasonable care to not mark or damage the product. All returned items will be inspected upon receipt. If there is evidence that the products are not in the same physical state and reasonable care has not been taken with them, then unfortunately you will not be eligible for a refund.

Please contact us before returning an item to get returns authorization details and full returns address. DO NOT send returns to our registered office address (15 Harrier Way) as these will not be accepted at that address. You must contact us first to get return details and correct return address.

Faulty items

If your item develops a faulty please notify us.

Warranty for Refurbished products are 6 months

Warranty for our Russell Hobbs cataloge is 2 years.

Warranty for brand new products is 1 year, unless otherwise stated.

If the fault has developed within 30 days of delivery for any reason we offer a no quibble refund or replacement policy on all items.

If the fault develops after 30 days but within the 6 month warranty for refurbished items (or longer if stated for New products) please contact us via my eBay and we will arrange for repair or replacement. For brand new products that come with Manufacturer warranty, we can either replace with new product or refund if not available when still under warranty.

In all cases if item is faulty and within warranty period we can arrange collection of item if more convenient for you.

If a product is returned as faulty but not found to have a manufacturing fault or if a fault has developed as a result of misuse, no product or postage costs will be refunded. If it is found that any product has been opened or tampered with, any warranty will be completely void. We will also then investigate to ensure that no parts have been removed and will check internal parts against warranty and serial number information held by the suppliers and refurbishers of our proudcts. Should it be found that they have been swopped or removed, criminal proceedings will take place. ALL FRAUDSTERS BE WARNED

Please note that it is also a criminal offence to attempt to return any of our products to the original high street retailers where our products may have been aquired from. They will pursue any customer who attempts this and will be criminally prosecuted. Any returns of items purchased from us must be returned to us if under the warranty period.
