SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES
Eckert Engineering is VERY FAIR with our shipping and handling charges
At Eckert Engineering we do NOT make our money with inflated shipping and handling fees. We will combine all items bought within a few days of each other within the same package (if possible).
Our items use one of several different shipping and handling systems:
1) FIXED SHIPPING - Usually used for buying up to 20 small parts at once:
For small repair parts such as sliders, tires, light bulbs, brushes, rotors, etc., please know that we charge a fixed shipping and handling fee of $4.99 USA and $5.99 Canada and $7.99 Worldwide for 1 to 20 such small parts. (A package of 2 bulbs counts as 1 item; a package of 10 tires counts as 1 item.)
2) COMBINED SHIPPING - Items with significant weight:
Where practical, we will combine the items that you bought from our eBay store along with items you have won from eBay auction for combined LOWER shipping fees. After you have won auction(s) and or finished shopping at our store, please send us an eBay message asking for an invoice with COMBINED SHIPPING. (The eBay calculator will probably have determined too high of a shipping fee and we are trying to same you some money.) We will then calculate the combined shipping and handling charges and send you an invoice with the combined shipping. The shipping we charge might be a bit higher than the actual USPS postage, because we had to pay for the shipping materials (boxes, mailers, popcorn, and tape) that we used. Larger items are listed with both an item weight (in ounces, oz) and a shipping weight (in ounces, oz.) We use these numbers in determining what the package will weigh after we combine items into a common shipping package. We usually ship by USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class mail to USA and we usually ship by USPS Airmail Letter (which can include boxes 4 pounds and under) to our World wide customers.
Such listings are noted with the following: This item has an item weight of 11 ounces, and a shipping weight of 20 ounces.
