Terms and conditions of sale
Any caravan sold on the Diamond Caravans site on behalf of a customer will be clearly sold as a “private sale” and this will be indicated on the “Trader” section of your invoice. All private sale caravans are sold on a strict “sold as seen” basis without exception. Any inspection or demonstration will be entertained or carried out with pleasure.
All used caravans along with any fittings accessories appliances and systems are sold with varying degrees of wear and tear, functionality and non-functionality commensurate with age and usage. It remains the responsibility of the purchase to ensure the condition and specification of caravan is suitable for their needs of usage.
All used caravans are strictly sold without warranty either express or implied unless otherwise marked on the invoice. Any used caravans supplied with warranty will be clearly marked on the supplied invoice and will be subject to limited terms and conditions which will be supplied. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure their vehicle is suitable to tow any caravan purchased from Diamond Caravans and a suitable and correct towbar in serviceable order is fitted to their vehicle.
The road wheels may have been removed and refitted as part of any service work which may have been carried out on caravans prior to offering for sale, it is the responsibility of the purchaser or new owner of the caravan to ensure any road wheel securing nuts are rechecked for tightness at the recommended interval after purchase.
Any safety checks, servicing or adjustments which may have been carried out on any systems which are deemed part of the caravan will have been checked and deemed correct or safe at the time of checking only, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure ongoing vigilance, correct usage and ongoing maintenance and remedial work to ensure safe operation of any systems of any type deemed part of the caravan.
All sales are final and are subject to payment in full or 10% minimum deposit with balance payable within 5 calendar days unless otherwise stated on the invoice. All deposits are non refundable. Should the purchaser cancel their order or balance not be received within 5 calendar days unless otherwise stated on the invoice the goods will remain the property of Diamond Caravans and the purchaser will NOT be persued for the balance of payment.
