I really got to appreciate knives after I learned how to use them (by learning how to defend against them). They don't misfeed or run out of ammo. And as to the old saying "Never bring a knife to a gunfight", well, after investigating several of those confrontations after the fact I can tell you, its not necessarily true. At least in my experience,  many knife guys can be a bit more dedicated than gun guys, well, they have to be.     Of course, the knife is primarily a tool first and can certainly save your life that way also. They can also be works of art and craftsmanship.  Its one of man's only tools that he embelishes. After all, when was the last time you saw a gold inlaid and engraved crescent wrench? You'll see all types of knives here. Except alot of flea market junk.
