Payment and Shipping Policies      

Payments  We gladly accept credit cards and electronic checks through Paypal, as well as money orders and Cashier’s Checks.  Payments for fabric, trim, and ready made drapery panels must be made or received before the product is shipped.   Payment for custom items must be made or received before the custom item is put into production. 

Sales Tax  If your purchase is being shipped to a location in North Carolina we are required to collect 7.75% state sales tax.

Shipping Costs  We do offer combined shipping rates on items that are purchased during the same checkout.  Please notify us at checkout for a combined shipping quote.

Fabric if purchased by the piece or by the yard – buyer pays all shipping costs.  Custom ready made drapery panels and custom products – Seller pays all shipping costs.

Shipping Locations  Designer Fabric Superstore ships to United States destinations.  Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and other US territories are subject to higher shipping rates.

Turnaround Time  Purchases of fabric, trim, and ready made panels are shipped within 24–48 hours (of receipt of payment), excluding weekends and holidays.  Production of custom items range from 3–6 weeks depending on the item and workroom capacity at any specific time.   

Packaging  Each item is packaged with the utmost care to insure it will be protected during transport.   

Return Policy

Returns  We use professional photographers to ensure that each picture we present is as accurate as possible.  Fabric colors can vary from one computer to another.  The color, brightness, contrast, size of pattern, and fabric construction may vary.  Please call us with questions before you place your order.  We encourage you to purchase a sample of each fabric you are considering.

We accept the following returns:

If a return is made due to our error or a product defect, 100% of your purchase price, including all shipping charges, will be refunded.  Please be advised that shipping costs cannot exceed our ground service rates.  Refunds will not be made for products that have been altered in any way from their original condition.  Refunds will not be accepted without a return authorization or after 7 days of receipt. 

Fabric if purchased by the piece or by the yard – A refund will be processed for your original purchase price, Original shipping charges will not be refunded.  The customer must pay for the shipping cost of returning the fabric.  Receipt of the return must be received within 7 days.  Fabric will not be accepted without a return authorization and must be received in its original condition.

Trim if purchased by the piece or by the yard – A refund will be processed for your original purchase price.  Original shipping charges will not be refunded.  The customer must pay for the shipping cost of returning the trim.  Receipt of the return must be received within 7 days.  Trim will not be accepted without a return authorization and must be received in its original condition.

Custom Ready Made Drapery Panels – A refund will be processed for your original purchase price.  The buyer will pay the cost of returning the drapery panels.  Receipt of the return must be received within 7 days.  Custom ready made drapery panels will not be accepted without a return authorization and must be received in their original condition.

Custom Made Drapery Panels – Custom products are made to your exact specifications and cannot be returned.

All returns must be shipped prepaid. COD packages will not be accepted.

Authorized returns should be shipped to:  Designer Fabric Superstore, Return Processing (RA #), 2225 Narrawood Street, Raleigh, NC  27614.

Refunds will be issued within 3-5 business days after satisfactory inspection to determine that the item is in its original condition. 

Return Authorization

Return Authorization (RA)
  Returns will not be accepted without a return authorization.  You must contact us by email or phone within 7 days of your receipt and request an RA (return authorization) number.  Email us at designerfabricsuperstore.com or call (919) 846-4883 between 9-5 (ET) Monday through Friday. 

Please provide us with your name, order number, reason for your return, item #, and quantity.  We will provide you with your RA#.

Enter the RA# on the outside of your package and place a copy of your original invoice, marked with the RA#, inside the package.  This will speed up your refund process.  Packages received without these documents will slow down your refund.
