Your Right to Change Your Mind
Under the EU Distance Selling Directive you have a
statutory right to cancel your contract any time up to 7
days from the day after you receive your order.

If you cancel your contract once your order has been
despatched you will be responsible for returning the
goods to Design55 at your own cost.

You need to take reasonable care to ensure that the
goods are not damaged prior to return or in transit. For
your piece of mind, we strongly recommend that you
obtain a receipt of posting for any item returned via
Royal Mail or take advantage of our courier collection
service for items that are heavy or valuable.
We do not accept responsibility for items lost or
damaged by Royal Mail.

Returns
We always try to ensure that our products are good
quality and value for money. If however your purchase
does not meet your expectations in any way simply
return the item to us unused and in its original condition
within 7 days of receipt. We will then either exchange
it or give you a refund less of the delivery cost for
despatching the item . Please note that this returns
guarantee does not affect your statutory rights for
returned goods under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
When returning the goods please include your order
details so we can easily refund you. Your return should

We recommend that you send items under 2kg by
Royal Mail 2nd Class Postage and obtain a receipt
of posting. Over 2kg using a reliable national courier
service of your choice.
Refunds
On receipt of your returned items, we will make a refund
to the value of the goods. We do not normally refund
the cost of your return postage unless the goods were
supplied to you faulty or incorrectly due to an error on
our part. Even though your order may have been sent
with Free Delivery, the cost for Design 55 to send your
parcel to you will be deducted from the refund, as these
are direct costs.
We can only make refunds to the original payment card
charged. We aim to action all refunds within 2 working
days from receipt of the returned good. Please note that
this returns guarantee does not affect your statutory
rights for returned goods under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
