We are the 3rd generation of a family company who have produced the highest quality duplex self-adhesive decals / transfers for over 80 years. My husband's grandfather, Reg Harrison and his partner Mr Axon moved to Jersey in the 1920's and established the business, DECOLCOMANIA WAS AT IT's HEIGHT! 

The rose designs were originally exported to the Caribbean to decorate bedsteads. It may have taken 80 years, but they are now back in fashion! Creating French Style Shabby Chic is very much in vogue. The results that can be achieved are stunning. Because our designs are produced from original hand stippled artwork from the 1920/1930's they give a truly authentic look to any item.

With the increase in tourism the trade grew and transfers were created for souvenir items in Scotland, Ireland and Wales. The range grew to include wild animals, birds, butterflies and wild flowers. We also produced religious images. Then there were mottos, prayers, town names and a charming range of nursery designs and Christmas designs.

In recent times Mike has draw designs for our very popular Canal Roses. They were originally produced in small sizes suitable for decorating Canalware .Because we had so many requests for the roses in a larger size , we have produced them in a size suitable for decorating Narrowboats. This winter's project will be to come up with Corner Roses and Castles, again in response to requests from our customers.

When you have grown with a product (as my husband has) you tend to take them for granted. Because I have only recently become involved with the marketing,  I am  really excited that I have the opportunity to share them with you. Their sale used to be restricted to trade customers. I always knew that everyone with a piece of furniture to restore, a butler’s tray, letter rack, a book mark, fridge magnet, diary, pebble - or a Narrowboat to decorate would love them.
