Shipping - we still do things the old fashioned way around here.
We process orders one at a time
Your item (s) will come gift wrapped in a silver foil gift box with silk ribbon suitable for gift giving.
Each item is carefully inspected prior to shipping.
Each jewelry item is placed into a small zip lock baggie to insure no stone loss should heat (summer) dislodge any. Please remember that we are in SinCity - in the summer temperatures can often reach 120 degrees and once the package leaves our hands we have no idea what they do with it but I can say we have not had a viable complaint in years.
We do not put our business card inside the box so your can simply rest assured that it can be passed along to someone as received if gift giving is your intention.
We do NOT use ebay - paypal or any other shipping label processing. We still simply cut and paste directly from paypal to print our shipping labels. This assures us that we can never make a shipping address mistake. If your shipping address sent to us by paypal is not correct please update.
Your gift boxed order will be shipped to you via USPO first class in a bubble protected mailer. Our return address is clearly stamped on the package so that should there be a delivery problem it can be returned to us by the PO. (never happens)
Each package shipping lable is sealed from weather by 2" clear packing tape. This protects the addresses from severe weather conditions as well as covers our return address.
Each package is shipped with delivery confirmation which is also sealed to the package.
The ends or opening side of the package is folded over onto the front of the package (shipping side). Once closed this flap is also sealed over. This assures us there is no tampering with the package by the post office because the postage label is then placed over this seal.
We do not use the postman to pick up our packages. We go directly to the post office and stand in line. (yes even at christmas) No paypal shipping labels and then dumping those packages off at the counter and hoping that someone there processes them correctly. We physically watch the clerk scan each and every item into the system.
We upload your delivery confirmation into paypal prior each day so if you get a notification from paypal. Ot should always be un your "<y Ebay" purchase history directly under the item title and item number.
If priority or expedited shipping is required to suit your needs please contack us and we will make the arrangements that you are paying extra for.
Our shipping methods have proven to be well worth the effort and we gotta tell you 1st class mail gets to it's destination (generally speaking) just as fast if not faster than priority mail. We've experimented with this many times and just can't justify using priority mail. Express is of course a different story with guaranteed delivery but it's pricey folks.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - it isn't that we don't want to ship internationally it's just that tracking is a HUGE problem for international buyers. We will ship internationally however please understand that there is a minimum charge of $14.50 for international registered shipping. We make no money from shipping - that is the exact charge the USPO starts trackable freight to a foreign country.
