So we carefully evaluate all of our products before offering them, and we don't carry the low quality knock off products you see coming into the country these days.
Connectors and Adapters are carefully examined for quality and dependability. Before we accept a connector or adapter to offer to our valued customers, we perform sweep tests, installation tests and use the connector just like you would. Only those that pass our tests are offered for sale. We apply the same standards to our antennas, cables, mounts and other electronics we offer.

History Of Dave's Hobby Shop
A Very Short History Of Dave's
Back in 1981, Dave's served our customers in the satellite television industry. Back then, satellite systems typically sold for about $5000 for a simple system. And it took a 10ft dish or bigger to get the signal. How times have changed! We were one of the first companies to sell these huge systems via mail order, shipping them all over the world.
 
Dave's also sold electronics products in the communications industry and bought and sold commercial two-way radio products, including liquidating complete inventories of surplus equipment. We refurbished units and shipped worldwide.
 
In the 90's, Dave's was one of the area's largest paging companies and serviced a 4 state area for our customers. We did technical work in our complete facilities and did fleet radio maintenance service for several large concerns. As the market for paging diminished, the paging parts of the company were sold off. Dave's still has expert and complete technical facilities. In fact, we can handle tasks up to 40GHz. Dave is active as a amateur radio operator with the callsign W5SWL. When not experimenting with microwave projects, you will find him on the HF bands using CW.
 
Having sold the paging facilities, Dave's entered one of our long term passions of electronic parts distribution, book distribution and hobby store supplies. As always, we endeavor to treat our customers like we like to be treated. We invite you to browse our online offerings and see us at various hamfest throughout the year.
