About Us

Dauwalders is located in Salisbury, Wiltshire and has been trading both in retail and wholesale stamps since 1958. Our specialty is stamps of Great Britain and we also carry large stocks of stamps from the Commonwealth and other countries.

We stock a large number of catalogues, albums and accessories for the dedicated philatelist and also cater for coin and postcard collectors.

Shipping Policies and Charges

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible from our premises in Salisbury. We use Parcel Force or DPD for all UK and overseas deliveries and aim to dispatch orders within three working days. Shipping overseas takes longer for delivery. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times and delays may occur during especially busy periods.

Orders for catalogues, albums and accessories to mainland UK addresses are subject to a ₤4.50 shipping charge. This is a one-off charge and remains the same regardless of how many items are purchased (so it pays to stock up!). If an order consists only of mounts a ₤1.50 shipping charge applies.

Overseas and some U.K buyers
Because the shape, size and weight of our products vary, shipping costs to overseas countries, UK Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland can also vary. If you live overseas, in the UK Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, or in Northern Ireland, please email us for a shipping quote before making a purchase. Shipping costs can vary massively depending on the country in question as well as the weight and size of the package.

Order Progress & Inquiries and feedback

If you wish to track your order please contact us on. Our staff are able to answer your queries from Monday to Friday. Please leave appropriate feedback and most importantly DSRs (Detail Seller Ratings) when you receive your order.

Stock issues and listing errors

Because we sell our products through a number of channels, there may be occasions when we temporarily run out of stock of certain items at short notice. We do everything we can to avoid this happening but on the rare occasion that it does, customers are offered the choice of either a full refund or they can wait for more stock to arrive.

We list a large number of items on eBay using the Turbo Lister bulk listing tool. Because of this high volume of activity mistakes can occasionally happen with items listed in error. Should this happen, customers are issued with a full and quick refund.
