Q: US, Canadian & Worldwide Buyers

A: If you live outside of the UK and Europe please ensure your player is compatible with Region 2 DVDs. I will not offer refunds for this, and it is your responsibilty to ensure your DVD/Blu-ray player is compaible with UK discs.

Q: Do you offer discount for multiple purchases?

A: No. With RM (Royal Mail)now calculating prices based on size aswell as weight, this means that multiple purchases increase to packets and we have seen a steep increase in our postage costs. To add to this RM have now also increased the prices on all postage. Unfortunately we have had to withdraw the offer on discount.

Q: When can I expect my order to arrive / My item hasn't arrived?

A: Orders are dispatched 2nd class as advertsied and are usually delivered in 3-5 working days. Please allow upto 15 days for your item before contacting us. There's nothing we can do until the end of this period due to Royal Mails Delivery policies. Due to the large number of emails we receive we may not be able to reply to your email regarding this.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes, We ship worldwide, but outside of UK & Europe please ensure your DVD or Blu-ray player is compatible with our discs as we will not be held responsible.

Q: Other Questions / Working Hours & Contacting us

A: If you have any other questions which are not to do with any of the above we will try to respond as qucikly as possible. Please allow 48-72 hours for a response during our working hours. We do not operate working hours during weekends, evenings or Bank Holidays so please also take this into consideration aswell, many thanks.

Q: Can you post to another address?

A: We only dipsatch to the registered users ebay address so any requests for items to be sent to an alternative address will not be honoured. This protects you as a buyer and us as a seller. Due to the large number of emails we receive we may not be able to reply to your email regarding this.

Q: What is region coding?

A: Imposed by the film studios due to the staggered theatrical release of movies worldwide and to protect exclusive markets, region coding was designed as a method of ensuring discs would be playable only in certain geographical locations.

  • Region 1: The US, US territories, Canada
  • Region 2: UK, Europe, Japan, Middle East, Egypt, South Africa, Greenland (Our DVDs available here on ebay)
  • Region 3: Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong
  • Region 4: Mexico, South America, Central America, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Caribbean
  • Region 5: Russia (former USSR), Eastern Europe, India, most of Africa, North Korea, Mongolia
  • Region 6: China

Note to US, Canadian & Worldwide Buyers: Our DVDs are region 2 UK & Europe so please ensure your player is compatible as I am not responsible for this, and will not honour refunds for this reason.

Q: How can I be sure a disc will play on my equipment?

A: European law demands that any DVD player bought within the EU (prior to any modification) will have R2 set as it's default region. Any R2 disc available from us should therefore be compatible with your player.

Q: What is Region 0?

Also known as 'Region All' or 'Region Free', Region 0 discs are compatible with any DVD player as they are specifically enabled for all countries

Blu-ray FAQ

What is Blu-ray Disc?

Blu-ray Disc is a next generation optical media format. Each disc, the same size as a regular DVD, can produce a progressive video image resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 (known as 1080p) for truly stunning visuals. Blu-ray also offers a significantly higher data transfer rate than television HD broadcasts for an improved picture presentation.

Currently Blu-ray can store 25GB of data on a single layer which means that dual layer discs can harbour a potential 50GB of HD content. Regular dual layer DVD is only able to present 9GB of SD content.

Does Blu-ray Disc have Region Coding?

Yes. Regions are specified below.

Can I play Blu-ray Disc on my existing DVD player?

No. To ensure playback you'll need a dedicated Blu-ray player, Sony PlayStation 3 or a BD-Rom drive in your PC.

Can I play DVDs on a Blu-ray player?

Yes. Blu-ray players have been designed to be backwards compatible with regular DVDs so you can continue to enjoy your existing collection. In addition, Blu-ray equipment will allow upscaling of a DVD image up to a resolution 1080i/1080p for maximum visual quality.

Can I play Blu-ray Disc in a HD DVD player?

No. Blu-ray Discs are not compatible with HD DVD machines. Playback of Blu-ray Discs is limited to equipment bearing the Blu-ray Disc logo.

Do I need a new high definition TV to use Blu-ray Disc?

No. Pre-recorded Blu-ray Disc titles will play on any standard definition TV set, even if the video was encoded in High Definition.
