All of the military gear & items we sell are obtained by us directly from US military bases. Unless specified otherwise in the listing all of these types of items are considered to be genuine USGI. On rare occasion we may make purchases of items from other venues and resell them and either are not sure or we know aren’t USGI but in those cases we do are best to include a statement to that effect in the listing. Due to the fact that many of these items have been stored in military warehouses for extended periods we highly recommend laundering all items prior to use. All of the items we receive are hand sorted by type, size, style and rated for condition.
The quality of military surplus we receive from the Government varies greatly from shipment to shipment we receive. Obviously previously issued items will not always be in exactly the same condition or have all the same conditions present. All items may or may not have DRMO ( Defense Reutilization Merchandise Office) stamps applied at various locations. This stamping in no way effects use of item and only is used as an inventory control measure by the government. In most instances the stamping can be removed with some light scrubbing . We do our best to contain DRMO info in each listing IF WE KNOW the stamp is present but due to the volume of items we carry we cannot guarantee there presence or lack thereof. We rate the items we offer for sale using the condition levels found on the Condition page.
Due to the large volume of items we sell it is impossible to take individual pictures of each and every item. We frequently use stock photo’s . That being said it is our policy to always list and rate each item very accurately and in fact frequently we are told the items buyers receive are in much better condition then the listing described. The following standard disclaimer or variation thereof is found in most listings.
