INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE
Due to a high number of lost items we no longer offer international postage so please do not purchase if you are overseas. We will send most items to Ireland (excluding headlights and radiators) but please contact us for a price before purchasing.
Heavy or high value items are usually sent by courier. Postcode areas FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV33-39, KW all, PA21-33, PA35-40, PH18-26, PH30-42 (Scottish Highlands) are courier surcharged areas and will incur higher delivery costs. Due to the high cost of offshore courier delivery we will no longer despatch couriered goods to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Scilly Isles, however you are welcome to arrange your own courier collection from our premises.
ROYAL MAIL DELIVERIES
Most items which are sent by Royal Mail are despatched within 24 hours of purchase (excluding weekends) and will usually arrive within a couple of days, items with free p&p are always sent second class so may be slower. If an item is very slow to arrive please check with your local sorting office as it may have been held for collection if the postie was unable to deliver. They do not always leave a card advising collection details as they sometimes run out of them. Royal Mail do not consider an item to be lost or missing until 15 days have elapsed from date of posting so we are not able to pursue a claim until then. We always retain proof of postage until feedback is received confirming it has arrived safely. If goods arrive in a damaged state please retain all packaging and the damaged item as they would be needed in the event of a compensation claim and must be available for Royal Mail to inspect if required.
Any purchases made on or close to a bank holiday or weekend will not be despatched until the first working day which follows, i.e. the Monday following a weekend, the Tuesday following a bank holiday.
Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning so that we know to expect them. Refunds are made less the postage costs, return postage costs are the responsibility of the sender. Where a return has free p&p a handling charge will be made to cover the costs we have incurred in sending the item to you.
COURIER DELIVERIES
For purchases which will be delivered by courier (generally identified in the item description) can you please provide the following information:-
Contact telephone number - This is helpful if the courier has a problem finding your address or delivery is delayed. The driver will not phone you to arrange a time, wait for you to pop home from work etc, as they have a schedule to work to and will only deliver as instructed on the delivery sheet.
Unattended address - If the delivery address is unattended during the day please advise where you would like it left. A business address, neighbour/s or a secure place such as a garage, porch, outbuilding are often used.
If no information is provided when you complete checkout and make your payment despatch may be delayed. The courier will only attempt to deliver twice and will then return the parcel to us. We will not attempt to resend and will refund you less the courier charge.
So to enable us to provide a prompt and efficient service please give us as much helpful information as you can.
