We may send goods via third parties. We rely on the buyer to tell us if goods have not arrived. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be available to receive goods. We only accept claims for non-delivery if we are notified within 14 days of payment. We do this because our couriers require prompt claims.
Buyer is responsible for all extra costs of delivery resulting from failed delivery attempts.
In the case of delivery by courier or recorded delivery we will, upon request, provide tracking number and buyer will be responsible to solve delivery problems. If buyer is unsuccessful in this they will then be entitled to enlist our further investigations. We will not be responsible for replacing goods until all avenues have been properly exhausted. Buyer must supply a signed statement of non-delivery prior to any refund or replacement.
Where "Leave Next Door" etc. instructions are given then the goods are at buyer’s risk once posted / sent and a proof of posting certificate or similar will be sufficient evidence that the goods were sent. We will endeavor, without liability, to pass on any special delivery instructions given to us.
Buyer is responsible for damage in transit, unless ‘not inspected’ is written against the signature on receipt of the goods and the buyer has paid for insurance. Subject aforesaid our insurance covers for damage or loss in transit and is subject to reasonable verification by us.
All information is provided to the best of our knowledge and limited to the sales details. Any questions may be asked before bidding. New items have the benefit of any guarantee or manufacturers warranty referred to in the sales details. All warranties on used products are limited to preexisting defects and must be notified within 7 days of posting. Repair costs should only be incurred with our prior agreement. New products are repaired or replaced by the manufacturers who will not pay for repairs through third parties.
DOUBTFUL OR NON PAYING BIDDERS
We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to cancel any sale or bid by giving 2 days notice that we require immediate payment. We can then, if payment is not made within 2 days, resell the item and buyer will be liable for our costs, expenses and any loss including legal fees of recovery. The matter will also be referred to eBay Investigations for further action.
Payment by credit or debit card can be refused by us & will generally not be accepted from outside the UK
Payment must be received within 7 days after the auction closes, otherwise the item may be re-listed and appropriate feedback left.
DO NOT SEND UNSOLICITED RETURNS. All returns are conditional upon prior notification and discussion with us prior to dispatch. If dispatched without prior approval RETURN postage costs will be payable by the buyer. In the case of new goods the manufacturers acceptance needs to be obtained and a returns number supplied. If goods are returned on an unsolicited basis then the seller shall be entitled to charge 30% of the price of the goods (minimum £15) by way of agreed restocking fees or to require the buyer to pay for them to be sent back.
Postage costs, unless item is proved to be faulty, are not refundable in all cases of replacement or refund. Buyer is responsible to post back any items for testing at his own cost within 7 days, after which all sales are final. Postage costs shall be agreed with us prior to dispatch.
VAT (UK BUYERS)
All prices include VAT at 20%. We provide an electronic VAT receipt within 48 hours of purchase.
VAT (INTERNATIONAL BUYERS)
By law a customer living in the European Economic Community (EEC see below) must be charged VAT at UK rates (20%) on the transaction. You should have no further VAT to pay when the goods arrive.
Sales to overseas businesses in the EEC require a VAT number (pleased supply) & official order for us to be able to supply goods without UK VAT.
This is only in our view an advantage if the VAT in your country is less than 20% and worth the costs of administration. We will verify your VAT number before sending.
We sell goods through multiple listings. Goods are therefore subject to availability at time of order. If an item is not in stock we will refund you usually within 48hours.
All emails will be sent to your Paypal e-mail address or if paid by any other means to eBay. If you have not given a proper address you will be deemed to have received the email unless you have agreed with us prior to purchase that we should use another email address.
Statutory rights are unaffected and take precedence.
