Our returns policy is straightforward.
Our no questions asked guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the item you have ordered is faulty, defective or you’ve changed your mind, you must return it to us unused and in its original condition within 14 days from the date you receive your order for a replacement, exchange or refund.
We hope that you are pleased with your purchase from CvOptics. However, we understand that there are occasions when you need to return goods to us.
Faulty or incorrect product: If your goods are faulty on arrival or we have sent you the wrong product, you have 7 days to inform us. When the goods are returned to us and the fault has been verified, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method. We will cover the return postage costs only if the item/s you have received are faulty, damaged or incorrect, postage costs will not be refunded if the item/s are unsuitable.
Goods damaged in transit: If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us as soon as possible, but within a maximum of 7 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, its best to sign the delivery note accordingly. Once the damaged goods are received back, we’ll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method.
If you have changed your mind: If you have simply changed your mind about your order and you wish to return your goods, the goods must be returned ‘As Sold’. This means that all packaging, instructions, parts, accessories must be included and unused. Once you’ve decided to return goods, you have 14 days to do so at your own expense. We strongly recommend that you are insured and that you send the package by Recorded or Special Delivery. Depending on the value of the product/s you are returning, the Post Office will be able to give advice on which method is best. Please keep your proof of postage until you have received your replacement or refund. Any free gift, special offer or deal must also be returned. Once goods are received at CvOptics, we’ll issue a full refund for the cost of the goods to your original payment method.

Returning a gift: We are happy to exchange unwanted, faulty or defective products that you have received as a gift. Please note that refunds of the purchase price for items bought as gifts can only be given to the person who made the original purchase.
Using your new product: When using your new item for the first time, please ensure that you use it somewhere clean and safe. Unfortunately we cannot replace dirty, marked, stained or products that have crash landed.
Perishable goods: We cannot accept returns of perishable products.
