Postage & Payment
We require payment within 7 days of purchase. We DO NOT accept CHEQUES or Postal Orders UNDER £5.00, we can accept UN-CROSSED postal orders under £5.00. We are happy to combine purchases within a 7 day period (shop & auction items)please wait for a combined invoice as refunds will not be issued once payment has been received. To try to keep everything straightforward and to ensure that your purchase is hassle free, please could you read our Terms & Conditions outlined below.

PAYMENT

Please make payment within 7 days of purchase - we are flexible so if you wish to combine purchases we are happy to save you money on postage costs.

MINIMUM ORDER

There is a minimum order value of £5.00 when paying by  cheque or crossed postal orders (cheque is only applicable to UK buyers).  We can accept uncrossed postal orders for payments under £5.00 but not crossed postal orders. 

SAVE MONEY ON COMBINED PURCHASES

We do combine delivery costs for both auction items and shop items. You can request a combined invoice or we will send you one automatically with the required cost Please do not make individual payments/or pay before receiving an invoice as this will invalidate your combined purchase and once paid we will not refund your payments. We are happy for you to wait for other auctions to finish before paying but only within a 7 day period.

POSTING

All items are sent 1st class unless otherwise stated, we do not post items 2nd class.  We post orders within 2 working days of receipt. We do not post over the weekend or public/bank holidays.  If you pay by cheque this will delay your delivery as cheques can take up to 10 days to clear. We always email you to confirm when payment has been received and when your item has been despatched.   

HOW POSTAL CHARGES ARE CALCULATED

 

All items listed in our shop or auction are classed as either large letter or packet.  Postal charges are shown on every auction and shop items

 

Our minimum postal charges are as follows

  • UK customers £1.25
  • Europe £3.00
  • all other Countries are £4.00.   

We will still offer a postal discount for multiple purchases as per our Terms and Conditions, providing the items to be combined are compatible.  Postal Insurance is always quoted as an option on all listings and is highly recommended.  We are a V.A.T. registered business so V.A.T. is included in all charges.  Please also be aware that the postal charge is not just the cost of a stamp.  We calculate our P&P charges as follows:-

  • minimum postal charge as detailed above  

If the item(s) are more than the minimum postal charge it is calculated as follows:-

  • actual cost of the stamp
  • plus 50p to cover packaging materials (i.e. bubble  wrap and envelopes) and handling charge
  • plus V.A.T. is added. 

As you can see, we do not profit from postal charges.  If you have any queries regarding the postal cost of any item, please do not hesitate to contact us. 

 

HOW ITEMS ARE PACKED

We always ensure packages are sent out securely and in bubble or board backed envelopes with a return address if your parcel should be un-delivered.  If necessary  we also wrap with extra bubble wrap to make sure that your item arrives in the condition it was sent out 

IF YOUR ITEM IS DAMAGED OR CONTENTS IS MISSING

If you receive your item damaged then you must make a claim through Royal Mailor if you are an International customer through your own Postal Service.  Please make sure you keep the packaging it was delivered in.  We will assist you in any way we can.

MISSING PARCELS

Fortunately this is very rare but if you do not receive your parcel please email us and we can look into it - we always obtain a proof of postage but this is NOT insurance, if postal insurance is required please ensure you include it when making payment.  It is always worth paying the extra 75p (which is the actual cost) just for peace of mind, we always offer recorded delivery as a payment option on all listings.   

Parcels are not classed as missing by Royal Mail until 15 days have elapsed (longer for International parcels).  If your parcel has not arrived after 15 days have passed from the date of posting, please contact us.  We will forward a form for you to complete stating that you have not received your parcel and instigate a claim with Royal Mail.  You will be refunded in full or if available the item(s) will be replaced (this is not always possible depending on stock availability).

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ** PLEASE READ **

Postage cost are as stated in GBP, if you require a conversion rate your can do this using Paypal's Currency Conversion rate. Payment must be made by PAYPAL only, we do not accept personal checks, money orders or cash - Please do not ask.  If you require your item to be signed for this is an extra £4.50, this covers you up to £40.00 insurance on your item, additional insurance can be added for an additional cost of £2.00 please email us and we will add the correct insurance to your invoice, we will combine postage cost on multiple purchases both auctions and shop but only within a 7 day period.  For non EU Countries we fill in a Customs Declaration (CN22) and you may be required to pay additional costs depending on the tax laws within your Country, please be aware that any Customs tax/duty is your responsibility.  Please do not pay for items individually as this will invalidate your combined purchase and we will not refund your payment once you have sent it. 

RETURNS

If you are not happy for any reason please email us and we will of course try to help in anyway we can.  

If you do not want the item you have received as you have simply changed your mind or it wasn't exactly what you were looking for, we will accept the returned item(s) within 14 days of receipt providing it is returned in the condition it was sent in (i.e. in a re-saleable condition).  We will credit the full purchase price excluding the postage cost at time of purchase and the postage cost incurred to return the item back to us.  

If the item is faulty, please notify us so we can advise which way is best to proceed.  If you are required to return the item, any reasonable postage costs will be reimbursed.  If we do not have another item in stock, you will be refunded the full purchase price plus postage charged.

We always leave feedback for you when your item has been despatched.  If you could leave feedback for us when you have received you item(s) and you are happy with them we would be appreciate it.  If you have any problems with the transaction, please could you contact us prior to leaving negative or neutral feedback so that we can sort any issues out.
