How to work older programs in vista
To Run the program in compatibility mode:
1. Locate the Program on your Hard Drive after installation.
2. Right-click program file, and then click Properties.
3. On the Compatibility tab, click to select the Run this program in Windows XP mode,then click OK.
5. Your program will then run properly and you won't need to perform this action again to run program next time you launch it. Windows Vista uses a feature called Compatibility Mode which tells the software application that Vista is actually an older OS, specificallyWindows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, or XP.
If your softwareapplication won't install, open or work properly, right click on the application's .exe file or your desktop. Select Properties and then click the Compatibility tab.
From there, pick the previous Windows operating system you were on (most likely Windows XP). |
