Terms and Conditions
Bidding / Agreeing to Buy: Please do not bid on, or agree to buy items if you are not prepared to pay for them. If payment is not received after 4 days then a dispute will be opened which may result in receipt of a non-payment strike.
Payment: Payment is normally accepted by Paypal only. If you wish to pay by another method please contact us before bidding. If for some reason you cannot pay promptly then please advise us of the situation as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
Dispatch Time: Our aim is to dispatch items the same or the next working day after payment is received, however this may take an extra day or two at busy periods.
Due to the volume of sales we cannot always get things shipped as quickly as we would like, although we pride ourselves on having a generally quick turnaround. Please contact us before bidding if you have a particular delivery need and we will do our best to help.
Postage: We will send you a dispatch note when your goods have been sent. Due to recent significant postage price increases, most goods in the UK are now sent Royal Mail Second Class by default. We also offer First Class where indicated.
If multiples of an item are ordered it may be necessary to send them by Parcel Post due to maximum size restrictions on First or Second Class Packets.
Delivery by Second Class is ideally in 2-3 working days, but please note this is not guaranteed and occasionally deliveries do take longer. Please allow allow at least 7 days before assuming there has been a problem.
Please bear in mind that we are not responsible for speed of delivery once items have been placed in the postal system. Consequently we cannot accept liability for items delayed by Royal Mail or other carriers, unless a special guaranteed service was used. If you require tracked delivery, or guaranteed delivery by a specific day, then please ask us before bidding and we will advise you of the available options. We will always be happy to quote for recorded delivery or special delivery where appropriate.
Non delivery of correctly addressed items is extremely unusual. In most cases such items have either been temporarily delayed, or can be found at the buyer's local delivery office.
In the event that an item has not been received by the expected time then it is our policy to always ask customers to check with their local delivery office first before assuming the item is lost. This is because we have found that a previously attempted delivery is very frequently the explanation for "missing" items of mail.
If items are returned to us by Royal Mail due to faliure of delivery for whatever reason, then we will refund the cost of the actual item purchased less P&P charges. in the case of items sold with free shipping we will subtract our actual original postage costs. To minimise the chances of this please ensure that your address details are correct and complete on Ebay / Paypal, that your property is accessible for deliveries, and that any notes left by Royal Mail are responded to in good time.
Postage and Packing Rates: We consider our P&P rates to be competitive and review them regularly. It is not our policy to make any profit from them; they are levied only cover our expenses in delivering the product to the customer. In the majority of cases published P&P rates are below the actual cost to us.
We are happy to combine postage for multiple buys if paid for at the same time. Please request a combined price before bidding and then wait to be sent a combined invoice before paying.
International Orders/ Deliveries: Please note that International deliveries can take considerably longer than domestic ones. Please allow up to 15 working days, however 3 to 10 working days is far more typical.
If you require delivery outside the UK then please contact us before bidding for a P&P price, unless there is already an international rate listed. Please note not all items are available for international shipping, and we now no longer ship outside Europe.
Packing: All items are well packed, either in padded envelopes, or with bubble wrap/ corrugated cardboard and brown paper. Larger orders may be sent in cardboard boxes. We always maintain the utmost care to make sure your item reaches you in the best possible condition.
Receipt of Goods: Once you have received your goods, if you have any problems or concerns then please contact us and we will do our best to resolve them.
We are keen to maintain excellent customer relationships and the majority of problems can be resolved through communication, without the need to resort to neutral or negative feedback.
If you are happy with your purchase then please leave positive feedback and we will reciprocate as soon as possible. This may take a few days but we do always respond!
Damaged/ Defective Items: Despite our best efforts with packing, items do occasionally become damaged in transit. If your item has arrived damaged or you find it is defective, please contact us as soon as possible and we will request you to return the item to us.
Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt, returns cannot be accepted if not notified within this period. Please read returns info below for further details.
Returns: If you decide once you have received the item that you no longer want it, then please contact us to arrange a return. Unwanted returns should be sent back within 7 days of receipt in the condition in which they were received. These items must be in unopened condition if they were in sealed packaging. Damaged/Defective items should also be returned with the original product packaging where possible.
When posting back items please ensure they are adequately packed, preferably using the materials they were received in. Make sure your name, address and Ebay name is also included. Original P&P charges are generally non refundable. We reserve the right not to grant any refund if items are returned in unsatisfactory condition, or are never received.
Whatever the reason for the return, postage back to us is at the buyer's own expense. Please do not buy from us if this policy is not acceptable.
