Welcome to our eBay shop Cleveleys Photocentre. 

Hello. We are Kevin and Julie.

We own and manage Cleveleys Photocentre which is situated in Lancashire, on the Fylde coast, about three miles from the famous seaside resort of Blackpool. There has been a Cleveleys Photocentre trading in Cleveleys for over twenty five years  and in that time the shop has served generations of local people.  Now, we realise, times are rapidly changing. The way that consumers shop is very different to how it was say twenty years ago. Specialist photography shops on the high street seem to be a thing of the past which is a very great shame. There are many advantages to going into a shop, asking advice, and holding what you intend to buy before parting with your hard earned cash, especially when buying a complicated device like a digital camera. But, on the other hand, why waste valuable time when you can do all the research and buy on the internet from the comfort of your own home?

We appreciate that selling on the internet is expanding at a phenomenal rate.  So about five years ago the decision was made to expand our business and we began selling on eBay. It was always our intention to offer the same level of service to our eBay customers as those who visited our real shop. No item is listed unless it is in stock and as we are only yards from the local Post Office, we can ensure items are shipped as soon as possible. Customer satisfaction is crucial to us. Last time we checked we had 9 per cent of customers returning to us per month. (January 2012 - February 2012 inclusive). We do not intend to block ebayers with no feedback as we think everyone has to start somewhere. We have had plenty of sales from people for whom we were their first sale on ebay. We try to keep the postage cost to a fair price and offer great value for money.

 We do not always have the time to list every item that we have for sale in our eBay shop. What we have discovered is that some of the items we sell through our eBay have been so popular that we keep relisting them but we also intend to introduce as many new items when we can.

Currently we average about 3000 hits per week and we are proud to be able to sell to people all over the world. Countries we have sold to include Portugal, USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Brazil, France, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Russia, Croatia, Japan, Singapore, Norway, Belgium, Romania, Greece, Luxembourg, Austria, Israel, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Iceland, Malta, Hong Kong, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan, India, Macedonia, Peru, Kazakhstan, Uruguay, Mauritius, Kazakhstan and most recently Cambodia.

We would like to thank all the customers who have made a purchase from us and took the time to give us feedback. If for any reason you buy from us and have a problem, please speak to us first before you leave negative feedback and we will sort out the problem. It is our company policy to give you a positive feedback as soon as you have paid for your order. This is because as far as we are concerned you have carried out your part of the deal. Almost all of our customers have 100% feedback ratings proving that the system works! Ebay is a fantastic place for us to sell and we personally spend many hours just browsing the items that are on offer and we are continually amazed at the amount of choice! For our own use we have bought music, hifi and clothes from the many outlets available through eBay.
