Hi, Claire here! I've been buying and collecting the things I sell my whole life, so I want Claire's to be the kind of place that I'd want to shop. Here are my store policies; if there's anything you don't understand or that I haven't covered, please feel free to drop me a note! I'll always make time to quickly and thoroughly answer any questions you may have.
PAYMENT METHODS: I accept PayPal. Ebay no longer allows sellers to accept mailed payments.
SHIPPING METHODS: I use Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation exclusively for shipping within the US. It's quick, reasonable and allows me to track the package. I move heaven and earth to get packages shipped within one day of payment, and sometimes the same day! Check out my feedback and you'll see how happy it makes people to get their items so quickly.
I use First Class International for most international shipping. Again, it's pretty fast (customers usually receive their item within 5-7 days from shipping), and relatively reasonable. If an item is very heavy or valuable, International Express Mail is recommended, as it allows international packages to be insured properly.
Shipping insurance for packages within the US is optional for the customer. My responsibility for the package ends with it's accurate labeling and safe delivery to the post office.
COMBINED SHIPPING: I offer combined shipping discounts for purchases of two or more items. For the children's items, shipping is $5.50 for the first item and $1 each for any additional. For normal adult items, shipping is whatever the heaviest or most expensive item costs plus $2 for each additional. For international packages, each additional item is $4 (except Canada, which is usually less).
RETURN POLICY: I want you all to be as happy with your purchases as I want to be with mine. I stand by every word of description and every picture I take for every item. If I make any mistakes or miss something, I will happily take the item back within a reasonable time, as long as it's returned in the same condition that it was sent. Please notify me within three days of receipt. However, as long as the item is as I have described it and pictured it, I have a no return policy. Ask any questions you like prior to bidding - I'll give you as much additional info as you wish.
BIDDING: We all have to start on ebay sometime, and I welcome bids from people with low feedback numbers. However, if you're a "0-5" person, please drop me an email before bidding so we can get acquainted.
PICTURES: I've had several people over time ask for a picture of the "actual" item. I take this as a great compliment! None of my pics are professional stock shots - I take all my own pictures and they are all shots of the actual items up for auction.
