DETAILED BELOW ARE OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE REGISTRATION IN THIS AUCTION WHICH WE RECOMMEND YOU READ PRIOR TO YOUR PURCHASE
OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE IN PLACE TO SAFEGUARD THE INTEREST OF BOTH
PURCHASER AND SELLER
ANY ISSUES ARISING FROM YOUR PURCHASE WILL REFERRED TO OUR T&C’s IN THE FIRST INSTANCE
1. All Sales are INCLUSIVE of VAT.
2. All Sales are INCLUSIVE of DVLA Assignment Fee and/or DVLA change of name fees
3. All Sales are INCLUSIVE of postage costs.
4. Quite simply there are NO HIDDEN OR EXTRA
COSTS – what you see is what
you pay!
5. CMUK reserve the right to end any auction at any time as registration marks are advertised elsewhere, outside of ebay.
6. CMUK only reserve the right to refund payment paid in respect of a registration mark, which is no longer available for purchase, despite a winning bid being made and payment being made. Buyers will be notified as soon as possible after your winning bid if this is the case.
7. Any monies paid to us will be refunded ONLY if the transaction cannot be completed due to an occurrence of point 5 or 6 above being incurred. NO other refunds will be made.
8. CMUK cannot be held responsible for any loss or incidental damages arising from any instances detailed in 5 or 6 above.
9. CMUK will contact the purchaser within 24 hours (or earlier where possible) of their winning bid, with details required for payment, and the desired name and address of the recipient of the registration mark.
10.CMUK will contact the purchaser within 24 hours (or earlier where possible) of their winning bid, where instances relating to points 5 or 6 above have occurred, and details the next steps in the process.
11.If an instance relating to points 5 or 6 occur, CMUK will offer a similar alternative to the preferred choice of the purchaser.
12.The purchaser WILL NOT BE LEGALLY BOUND TO ACCEPT any alternative registration mark offered.
13.Images of Registration marks are shown for illustration purposes only, and CMUK CANNOT and will NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE should the purchaser choose to misrepresent or manipulate any registration mark purchased.
14.Upon completion of the transaction and purchaser obtaining the Certificate of Entitlement, it is your responsibility to purchase the acrylic number plates that will be actually attached onto the vehicle of your choice.
15.Supply of number plates is not included in the price you pay and CMUK CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE for the purchase of plates and subsequent non-completion of the transfer.
16.CMUK Recommend SELECTAPLATE for your acrylic registration requirements. Acrylic plates can be purchased from SELECTAPLATE at an exclusively discounted price, on completion of the transfer of ownership of your registration from CMUK. Successful bidders will receive information on the discounted registration plates via the checkout e-mail on completion of the sale from us.
17.Serious bidders only please - any bid made/offer accepted WILL NOT BE RETRACTED under any circumstances and compensation/payment sought through the formal ebay channels.
18.This is with the exception of instances falling within points 5 & 6 above, occurrences of which will render the agreement to purchase null and void for both purchaser and seller.
19.By placing a bid the purchaser is agreeing to pay the winning amount in full – PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO PAY THE WINNING AMOUNT.
20.Payment WILL BE pursued through e-bay for non-paying auction winners.
21.CMUK reserve the right to include additional payment charges depending on payment method and winning bid amount, particularly relating to the acceptance of ‘Best Offer’ prices. Purchasers should be aware that charges WILL BE added in these instances, and will not amount to any more than 4% of the winning offer amount
22.PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 2 DAYS of the end of the auction to ensure you receive your chosen registration– no exceptions other than by prior agreement. Cherished Marks UK reserve the right to re-list AND/OR re-sell your chosen registration if your payment is not received within 2 days of winning the auction AND seek compensation/return of costs incurred relating to the advertising/sales/charges for the transaction you have agreed to undertake.
23.Cherished Marks UK may from time to time ask customers for Testimonial statements OR feature your purchase on our website and in Marketing/Promotional materials. NO Personal Details other than your name/initials and general location in the UK i.e. LONDON or MANCHESTER will be used. By purchasing from Cherished Marks UK you agree to the feature of your purchase in aforementioned media types.
24. By selecting Buy It Now, submission of an offer which has been accepted, or placing a winning bid for the above registration, you completely agree to the PURCHASE of the registration detailed in the auction description (not the auction image) as clearly displayed in size 36 Font in the auction narrative at the top of each auction description.
25. Due to the personalised nature of the sale of registration marks, and due to the addition of your chosen name as entitled nominee for the registration, NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS are possible. By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, you confirm that you will not take any Legal/Civil action.
26.It is your responsibility to read and understand all the Terms and Conditions above, please remember it is illegal to mis-space or misrepresent any letter or number on a registration plate, other than when participating in Off-road rallies/competitions or within a private road/area. We cannot and will not be held liable if you purchase the registration and chose to manupilate the letters or numbers on your registration.
27. CMUK will not be held liable if your chosen manufacturer is unable to supply the acrylic registration plates supplied/made in the exact way in which you would like them. The responsibility for this is solely yours, and no retort can be made to CMUK.
28.Cherished Marks UK offer registrations from a variety of sources, including our own stock, registrations we are selling on behalf of 3rd parties and un-registered Government stock.
29.In terms of acrylic number plate manufacture/supply, CMUK do not promote the manipulation of number or letters displayed on a registration plate, this is illegal. It is fully your reponsibility if you wish to do this. We are aware that is possible to request the manufacture of registrations with manipulations by some companies.However CMUK do not recommend NOR suggest that manipulation should take place.
30. Under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations (2000), we must inform you that your contract with us starts immediately upon payment, and that no refunds or returns are possible due to the personalised nature of our transaction. There are no cooling off periods associated with the sale and purchase of personal registrations.
