What to do if your computer isn't starting up
Every computer we sell is set up to order – not prepared in advance – and tested thoroughly prior to despatching. However, while we put every effort into ensuring that the computer arrives with you in full working condition, just as it would have been when collected from us, once the computer leaves our location we are entirely at the mercy of the courier and their treatment of the parcel.
If you have just received your computer and are experiencing a problem with it, it will most likely be a case of something having come loose in transit. If your computer is failing to boot up, the two likely sources of the problem are 1) the memory or 2) the processor. We have written step-by-step guides, with photos to illustrate, on how you can reseat both the memory and the processor:

If your computer is a “HP Workstation", please click HERE
Everything is given as simple and straight forward as possible. A couple of these may appear technical but they are all actually very simple, quick and common procedures, most of which would apply to any computer sent by courier; old, new or refurbished.
