Collecting comics can be a bit of a mine-field sometimes, especially when you're buying from ebay, so let me take this opportunity to reassure you about the quality of the items in my store.
The comics listed here are predominantly new and unread. They have, for the most part, been stored with backing boards and are all checked prior to listing. They are listed conservatively as Very Fine-Near Mint, which, in my opinion is honestly the best a comic can be (basically, there's NO SUCH THING as a 'mint' issue ...as soon as it's touched it drops to 'near mint'!).
VF-NM indicates an excellent copy with only minor imperfections such as a few tiny stress lines on the spine or a minor printing/binding defect and may have a couple of small surface cover marks noticeable with close scrutiny. Most comics listed here meet this criteria or higher - anything else will be indicated in the 'Condition' section of the listing and will have a price reduced accordingly.
Graphic novels are also predominantly new and unread. They are as I would wish to buy them myself, and any damage will be noted in the 'Condition' section for you, and the price adjusted accordingly.
A small number of them have been taken from shop-stock and may have a small price sticker on the inside back cover (a teeny-weeny one - NOT like those HUGE things that WHSmith or Waterstones favour! *shudder*) . As GNs are not gradeable in the same way as comics, this is not a drastic thing and shouldn't affect a value price greatly, but if you would like me to check an item prior to purchase, that's absolutely fine - just email me and I'll be here to reassure you.
