Payment
UK BUYERS: I can accept payment, by Paypal, Nochex, Cheque or Postal Order.
USA/CANADA BUYERS: In line with Ebays payment policies, I can only accept payment by Paypal.
OTHER BUYERS: I can accept payment by Paypal or Nochex.
TIMESCALES. I expect payment or contact by 7 days after the end of the auction. However, if you are bidding on multiple items, I'm happy to wait a bit longer for payment to combine shipping. UK Buyers, please let me know if payment is being posted, so I can allow time for this.

Postage, Packing & Insurance
Postage charged at approximate weight of item plus weight and cost of packing.
I offer a choice of postage services within the UK, 2nd class packet as standard, with an option of 1st class packet at an extra cost. I post worldwide by airmail which takes from 7 to 10 working days.
Items valued at over £41.00 may be sent by online trackable means at my discretion, this is by special delivery in the UK and by International Signed For, for overseas. However, I will not charge you extra for this, you will only pay my normal postage rates.
I always combine and discount postage whenever possible, each additional item is only an extra £0.10 postage, which is added to the heaviest postage charged, as long as all items are paid for together.
PLEASE NOTE: items paid for seperately will not be eligible for combined postage and will be packed and sent seperately. If you wish to add another item after you have paid and want to combine postage, please let me know and I can refund and re-invoice for all the items.
I post by the next business day after receiving cleared payment; I post once a day, Monday to Friday.
PLEASE NOTE: if buying from outside the UK then you are responsible for any import tax or duty levied by your government. To find out more about what charges(if any) are applicable in your country, you will need to contact your country's customs service. Import duties are usually collected at the time of delivery by the postal company, so please don't confuse this with an extra shipping fee. In line with international law, I will not undervalue items on a customs form, or mark items as a gift.

Packaging
Unless a thimble is complete with it's own plastic box, each thimble is individually bubble-wrapped and then placed into a small perspex thimble dome, pictured below, which is layered in more bubble-wrap. Small orders are posted in padded envelopes, larger orders are posted in boxes.
Larger thimbles are sent in larger perspex domes. Occasionally a thimble is too large even for one of the larger domes, but will be securely wrapped and packed for posting.
