1. Position the trim on the fitting area to make sure the piece will fit perfectly before removing the wax paper backing
2. Clean fitting area thoroughly to remove any traces of silicone or dirt – using surgical spirit ONLY - CLEANING IS VERY IMPORTANT!!
3. Gently heat the walnut trim with a hairdryer /car heater etc until warm
4. Peel off the trim from the wax paper to reveal the adhesive surface - try not to touch the sticky side with your fingers
5. Take time and care to align the trim piece to the fitting area – press the whole surface firmly into place and run your thumb around edges for a secure fit.
6. Any excess adhesive or sticky residue on the trims surface will easily polish off to leave a shiny unspoilt finish - preferably use a damp cloth and then dry cloth to buff dry
