SHIPPING INFORMATION

We like our customers to be able to make an informed decision on their purchases, and this includes the method of shipping. Ebay do show various shipping times for different methods of shipping, however these cannot always be relied upon.

We use Royal Mail for the bulk of our items and the speed of delivery varies from service to service both UK and Internationally. There are varying weight limits to take into consideration. In general, we are able to combine shipping for most of our items, however on some occasions this may not be possible due to those limits. Please read our information below, provided by Royal Mail.

UK Shipping Methods

Royal Mail 1st Class - This is the cheapest method of shipping that we offer and in general, we use this for smaller, less expensive items. Delivery times are estimated at 1-2 days, though during peak periods such as Christmas, this can be slightly longer.

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery - We offer this service as an addition to First Class for a slightly more secure delivery. The additional benefits this provides include a tracking number and signed for delivery. Tracking is only available after the item has been signed for and doesn't increase the speed of delivery. Royal Mail estimates are 1-3 days. Peak times such as Christmas can extend delivery times. Customers should be aware that if a signature is not available, the postman can leave your item with a neighbour, or in a "safe place" previously agreed, and will leave a "while you were out card" detailing where the item has been left.

Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day - This service is a guaranteed Next Day signed for and tracked service. Once we dispatch the item, you can expect to receive your item by the following working day. Deliveries are attempted at any point up to 1pm. In the event that the customer cannot be available to sign for the item, your delivery will be returned to the sorting office and a "while you were out" card left.
The additional benefits to this service above and beyond Recorded Delivery are that the tracking provided is provided at every stage of the journey, we retain a tracking number with which to track the item. Next Day delivery guaranteed by Royal Mail. There are also additions to the Special Delivery service that guarantee deliveries before 9am on the next working day, and on Saturdays. However these services incur extra charges over Next Day deliveries. We generally use Special Delivery for items weighing under 2kg as above this level, delivery becomes expensive at close to £20 for up to 10kg.

International Shipping Methods

Royal Mail Airmail - Used most frequently for items up to 2kg. This service is not tracked or signed for and delivery estimates are 3-5 days

Royal Mail Airsure - Used for more expensive items up to 2kg, this service is tracked internationally to point of delivery, with delivery estimates of 2-4 days. Requires a signature at the point of deliery. Available only to certain destinations, so if this service is required, you will need to enquire if your destination is covered.

Royal Mail International Signed For - Used for more expensive items, this service is tracked to UK boundaries. Requires a signature, delivery estimates are the same as Airmail at 3-5 days.
