This first item is a 300watt converter
for use here in the UK with USA items.
This item is fully Earthed and accepts 2-pin and 3-pin USA style plugs.
This unit weights
3.5Kg, and is capable of powering quite
high-
powered USA and Japanese devices such as PCs, laptops,
game consoles etc. It is also suitable for many USA sourced power
tools and guitar amps, in fact anything
that requires up to
300
Watts of power.
This Voltage and plug converter,
is rated at 100watts and again is
designed to be used with USA items whilst here in the UK. This
also accepts 2-pin and 3-pin USA plugs, however on this item the
Earth pin is NOT WIRED, and so this should only be used with 2-pin USA plugs.
Suitable for virtually all
game consoles (except the X-box), and any USA sourced
equipment that does not require more than 100 watts
This is my lowest cost Voltage
and plug converter for use in the UK
Its rated at 45Watts which is still fine for most imported DVD players
and many radio cassettes and things like ipods and phone chargers.
Like the previous one, this one must only be used with usa 2-pin devices
due to not having a wired earth pin.
This is what I call my USA travel
adapter. It lets us UK/Ireland folks
use our equipment Whilst we are travelling in the USA. Its rated at
45watts and thus is ideal for portable CD players, phone chargers,
or any equipment at all that does not required more than 45 watts.
This converter conforms to the USA 3-pin standard, so will plug into
any 3-pin USA wall socket, and thus ensures that your item is Earthed
should it need to be.
