| Book Grading and Format
Buck Creek Books Condition Definitions
We do our very best to describe our books accurately. We use the Independent On-Line Booksellers Association (IOBA) standards to rate the condition of our books. Below you will find the IOBA as well as eBay's equivilent grades.

Very Fine (VF) (eBay = Brand New) - without faults or defects; although most Brand New books do not qualify for this grade.

Fine (F) (eBay = Like New)- may show signs of having been read but no real defects or faults

Near Fine (NF) - approaching Fine but with a couple of very minor defects

Very Good (VG) (eBay = Very Good) - used book showing some signs of wear on either the binding or dust jacket

Good (G) (eBay = Good) - used, slightly worn but all pages intact

Fair - worn book, all defects noted

Poor or Reading Copy (eBay = Acceptable) - sufficiently worn but all text complete, all defects noted

Ex-Library - always designated regardless of books condition

Book Club (BCE) - always noted regardless of books condition

Binding Copy - text complete but binding is lacking or in poor condition

Remainder Marks, Bookplates, Previous Owner's Name - will be noted in the description
