| TERMS OF BUSINESS
1. Acknowledgement of orders
We will send you an e-mail confirming each order placed.
2. Dispatch dates pre-order
We will dispatch orders received by the 20th August 2010 for spring flowering bulbs during the first two weeks in September 2010, subject to external delays. Orders received between 21st August 2009 and 6th September 2010 will be shipped before the end of September at the latest.
3. Ordering from stock
Any orders received after 8th September 2010 will be supplied from stock. If an item is out of stock, a warning will appear. Occasionally, due to on-line processing, we may not have enough stock to meet your order even if no warning was shown.
Delivery time for stock orders is typically less than 5 working days, however all delivery times should be treated as estimates.
4. Dispatch Charge – UK Mainland only
Packaging and delivery costs to the UK mainland are based on weight in relation to order value. Packaging and delivery costs are subject to change without notification. Changes will not apply to orders already placed. Total packaging and shipping costs are shown at checkout.
4a. Dispatch Charge – Highland and Islands
Deliveries to Highland and Islands may incur additional surcharges please contact us for details.
4b. Dispatch Charge - Europe
We currently only ship to Europe for orders over £75.00. Delivery costs are to be quoted based on your order and agreed in advance. We calculate delivery charges based on DHL European rates. Returns outside of the UK will be at the buyer’s cost.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are in £ sterling and include UK VAT at the appropriate rate. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. We accept payments through PayPal including all major credit and debit cards. If you do not have a PayPal account you can still pay using a credit card. For payment by cheque, please contact us.
6. Substitutions
Occasionally we are unable to supply certain varieties. We will send you an e-mail notification and a refund will be issued for any difference between your order and what we send you, unless other instructions are received.
7. Guarantee
Brighter Blooms only supplies top quality bulbs. While we do our best to ensure all varieties are true to name, we give no warranty, expressed or implied, as to quality, productiveness or any other matter, and cannot in any way be held responsible for the results of planting, forcing, or flowering of the bulbs.
We would like to hear from you if the results do not meet (or indeed exceed!) your expectations.
8. Privacy
We will not pass your details to anyone. However, we may send you occasional promotional emails. If you do not wish this to happen, please let us know. Credit card details are handled by PayPal. Brighter Blooms does not receive any credit card details.
9. Weights
Daffodils, Narcissi, Onion Sets, Shallots, and Seed Potatoes are weighed and netted at the time of harvest. It is known that they will lose weight thereafter during storage. No warranty therefore is given or implied as to weight losses at the time of despatch and delivery.
10. Pricing/quantities
We have made every effort to ensure pricing, details and number of bulbs per bag is correct but we cannot accept responsibility in case of errors.
11. Goods received
The goods are at the risk of the buyer from the time of delivery. Goods received should be opened and inspected immediately. Bulbs should be removed from plastic wrapping and stored in a cool, dry environment if not being planted immediately. Damages or complaints should be made within 5 days of receipt of the goods.
12. Purchasing
All items offered on our website are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items on our Web Site, click the "Add to Basket" button shown on each product page. When you place an order to purchase a product by clicking the button "Order Now", we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've accepted your order or dispatched the product to you. The contract will be filed. For safety reasons your order’s data is not accessible via the internet. We keep this data in confidence according to our privacy policy.
13. Statutory Rights
These Terms and Conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights. |
