About Us
Why Bric Blok?
Children love building with Lego bricks, and the fact
that early plastic bricks from the 1950's are still compatible and in use
today affirms the longevity and enduring appeal of this fabulous and
original construction toy.
This BricBlok web shop is dedicated to providing families in the UK with a
variety of quality Lego-compatible sets and accessories to complement and
further extend the scope of play and discovery of children and young
teenagers. BricBlok's management and staff are all parents of school-age
children who, as well as having a lot of fun 'doing what we do', take great
pleasure from the wonderful feedback we get from adults and children alike -
especially those who are discovering COBI for the first time.
Equally we apply high 'quality' standards to our product selection, our
processing operations, and the secure handling of your personal and
financial information, and we warmly welcome questions and comments by phone
and email. Perhaps most importantly, on those few occasions when something
falls short of expectation, you can be assured that we will follow the
matter through professionally and diligently.
COBI design and manufacture their fully-compatible brick system in the EU,
and have produced a range of complementary themed sets which have
successfully filled a niche not normally addressed by Lego. The level of
equipment and armour in the 'Small Army' range is quite extraordinary, and
great battle scenes can be created featuring air, sea and land forces.
Another unique is the brilliant 'Romans and Barbarians' range featuring
fortresses and siege equipment along with minifigures of Centurions or
hoards of Barbarians, and the new Knights sets are proving of great interest
to wargamers of all ages.
All these theme sets, together with the Action Town vehicles and figures
that work so well with Lego City, lend themselves to rebuilding and
remodelling - allowing children to render their own often 'weird and
wonderful' designs from their imagination.
And for those who like to 'build and display', there are brand-licensed sets
including Formula 1 McLaren and Renault cars, and Boeing 767 and 787
DreamLiner models.
But don't just take our word for it - go ahead and treat your children,
grandchildren or younger relatives and let them be the judge - but please
share your thoughts with us!
