Vintage Egyptian Movie Poster Type

  • ONE-SHEET

40" x 27"=100x70cm printed on paper. This is the most common size of poster, intended to be displayed in a glass "marquee" case. It is the most sought after size by collectors.

  • ONE-SHEET OVER-SIZED
42"x 33" = 1.15x85cm printed on paper. This is uncommon size of poster. Harder to find. It is the most sought after size by collectors.
  • TWO-SHEET
42"x 33" = 1.15x85cm printed on paper. These were printed on two separate sheets designed to overlap, few survive.
  • THREE-SHEET

65"x 40"= 1.65x100cm  printed on paper. These were printed on three separate sheets designed to overlap, few survive. Used for larger advertising spaces, normally posted on walls, perfect for huge movie theaters the drive-in, where people could see them from a distance. 

  • LARGE BILLBOARDS (6,7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 20, 28 and 30 SHEET)

Various sizes printed on paper. They come in a number of same or different sized pieces and are placed together like a puzzle with designed to overlap. Their artwork is designed to catch the attention of motorists as they drive by. They are issued primarily for major motion pictures.Because they are made of paper stock and glued onto the billboard, few survive from having to tear them off to replace them with the newer piece.

  • TWENTY FOUR SHEET (24sht BILLBOARD)

236"x110"=600x280cm printed on paper. A Twenty Four sheet is a size of poster that is approximately 24 times the size of the one sheet. and is used for billboard advertising, although in older days some were placed on the sides of large buildings and barns. They come in a number of pieces and are placed together like a puzzle. Their artwork is designed to catch the attention of motorists as they drive by. They are issued primarily for major motion pictures.
